What are the must-haves / must-features of every launched product?
Some features of a launched product are so “basic” and taken for granted that we don’t even think of them as options. They’re a sure thing.
Usually, I see them as:
– Dark mode
– Onboarding process
– Language mutation (customised language for the country)
– Search with automatic filling – this is actually what many products are missing
– Suggested things for newbies – this as well – when someone is new, they will probably end up lost (especially when there is no onboarding)
What do you think each product shouldn't be missing?

Undo. Not the ctrl-Z kind, the "show me what this thing did and let me put it back" kind. Everything on your list is about the first five minutes. Onboarding, suggestions, search with autofill, they all help someone who has nothing in there yet. What decides whether they stay is minute five hundred, when they have real data in it and something goes wrong. Dark mode has never lost anyone a customer. A change someone could not see and could not reverse does it in one afternoon.

Totally agree with your list, but personally - call me old school - I need that little button/ arrow that brings you back to the top of the page. I miss it every time it’s not there.Especially for the smartphone based products
