What are the 5 tools you simply couldn't do your work without?

This could be related to your industry, or even a side project you're working on.

Here are my 5 (I couldn't function without them):

  1. Grammarly – proofreading my texts, not just posts, but also client communication

  2. ChatGPT / Claude – mostly brainstorming, help with copy, and summarising

  3. Figma – I can put the basic graphics together quickly.

  4. Translator – sounds incredibly old-school, but English is not my mother tongue

  5. Gmail – and not only for communication, but also for storing ideas and sending myself email reminders for posts

[and soon one more that I am working on – – prevents me from being banned on LinkedIn, so I will not lose my account.]

Rotating between a handful daily but the one that's saved me the most actual time lately is Vexer for drafting replies to customer reviews, sounds small but it used to eat way more of my day than it should have. Also can't work without Notion for keeping my head straight across projects, and honestly ChatGPT/Claude for just talking through problems before I commit to a direction.

Curious what's on everyone else's list that isn't the obvious ones (VSCode, Slack etc).

Here is my five:

  1. Claude – brainstorming, writing, debugging, basically my thinking partner throughout the day

  2. Antigravity – been a game-changer for building and shipping faster without the usual back-and-forth

  3. Nano Banana – my go-to for quick image generation/edits

  4. ElevenLabs – voice and text-to-speech whenever I need audio

  5. Perplexity – faster and sharper than a regular Google search for research

Mine change a bit depending on the project I'm working on, but these are the five I use the most:

  1. ChatGPT – Brainstorming ideas, debugging code, improving documentation, and planning SEO content.

  2. Cursor AI – My primary coding environment for building web tools and experimenting with AI-assisted development.

  3. GitHub – Version control, open-source collaboration, and keeping my projects organized.

  4. Google Search Console – Monitoring indexing, search performance, and identifying SEO opportunities.

  5. Figma – Creating simple UI mockups, icons, and graphics before implementing them.

Lately, I've been using this stack while building a Brazilian CPF validation and testing tool, so these five have become part of my daily workflow.
