Which AI models are you using? And why?

The large AI labs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Grok, Gemini, etc) are constantly releasing new versions and improvements.

People on social media often advocate for one specific model claiming that it performs tasks better than others.

What do you think about AI tools leaving their own watermarks on AI generated content?

  • I know many countries (especially in the European Union) are moving toward requiring AI-generated content to be distinguishable from human-generated content. Gemini already does this with images, and now Claude does it with text.

  • Social platforms are also creating their own identifiers that can detect and label AI-generated content, such as AI labels on X and LinkedIn.

I understand all sides of this:

Governments want to prevent misinformation.
AI companies can use it as a way to promote their tools.
Companies and SoMe platforms can distinguish AI-generated content from human-created content.
And AI tools can essentially create their own trademark on the content they generate.

🎨 Do solo makers need a UI/UX designer?

For solo makers, wearing every hat is almost unavoidable - developer, marketer, support, product and often designer too.

AI makes this even easier now. You can generate UI pretty quickly, but a lot of products end up relying on consistent, polished AI-generated solutions rather than something truly unique or thoughtfully designed for their specific product.

So I m curious:

Do you design the UI/UX yourself when building solo?
