What are the 5 tools you simply couldn't do your work without?
This could be related to your industry, or even a side project you're working on.
Here are my 5 (I couldn't function without them):
Grammarly – proofreading my texts, not just posts, but also client communication
ChatGPT / Claude – mostly brainstorming, help with copy, and summarising
Figma – I can put the basic graphics together quickly.
Translator – sounds incredibly old-school, but English is not my mother tongue
Gmail – and not only for communication, but also for storing ideas and sending myself email reminders for posts
[and soon one more that I am working on – SafeLimit – prevents me from being banned on LinkedIn, so I will not lose my account.]
What are your five?

my 5, mostly backend/infra brain so it skews boring:
claude code - not even exaggerating, most of finly's backend at this point got built with it as a pair programmer
prisma - complain about migrations sometimes but genuinely couldn't run the db without it
redis - rate limiting, locks, caching, doing way more grunt work than people give it credit for
expo - shipping ios and android from one codebase solo is not something i could pull off otherwise
notion - only thing keeping my task list from living entirely in my head
Reading through this thread, my list has also heavily shifted toward AI and automation over the last year:
Claude / Claude Code – Architecture decisions, heavy refactoring, and daily pairing.
n8n – The backbone for all our backend automations and AI pipelines.
Linear – Keeps dev tasks organized with zero bloat.
Figma – Quick mockups and UI alignment before writing code.
Privent – (Full disclosure: co-building this). Once we started heavily automating workflows with LLMs and MCP tools in n8n, data privacy became a massive bottleneck. We use Privent at runtime to mask, tokenize, or block sensitive payload data before it ever hits third-party AI models.
Once you start scaling AI workflows, securing the payload data in real-time quickly becomes non-negotiable!
my top 5:
1. soleos (my own project)
2. claude code
3. chat gpt
4. wispr flow
5. google chrome
Liso
My 5:
+ Claude, code, cowork everything
+ Clonk ai to use with claude to build
+ Liso app for efficiency with all the info on the internet
+ X has become quickly my favorite social media platform
+ Mac lol couldn't find a #5 so my mac is something i cannot live without
Les miens en ce moment :
Notion : tout mon business tourne dedans. Clients, factures, revenus.
Claude & chatgpt : brainstorming, copywriting, code.
