Those, who successfully landed in the top 10 on the Product Hunt – which benefits you had?

Apart from featuring in the Product Hunt newsletter and some awareness.

What measurable (long-term) outcomes did you get?

E.g. apart from increased traffic it could be:
– XY long-term users
– collaboration claimed
– investors who gave you XY amount of money

Share your highlights that stemmed from the ranking.

For us (minimalist phone), we use the PH 1 badge in the category Productivity as the build truster in each AppStore, Play Store visuals + on our web or Media kits (Press releases) to build authority.

Great question, Nika. This is actually the main thing I track with the teams I work with: the business results behind the launch. That’s what really tells us whether a launch was successful.

For example, with .

With , we received 2 partnership requests from Y Combinator companies.

We also regularly get inbound collaboration requests from creators on YouTube, X, and LinkedIn.

And on the investor side, one of our recent launches generated 5 inbound requests from investors.

So yes, a strong launch can bring a lot more than just upvotes and rankings.

Do you have long-term relationships with those investors? Or did you reject them?

We're in the middle of our launch right now, so I don't have the numbers yet. Bookmarking this one to come back once the dust settles. Hoping to have something worth sharing.

The launch is already done. Do you have any conclusions?

I am also preparing for the launch. Will have more to say once it is done. In the mean time working on the pre-requisites.

Hopefull will be a successful one.

Do you have any month/date on your mind? :)

bragging rights lmao.

Traffic, signups, mostly being known by the community here

And you also keep buliding the personal brand so effedt prevails :)

one benefit that doesn't show up in most of these answers: the badge and traffic fade, but the relationships from being in the top 10 that day don't. makers who launch well tend to get asked to hunt other people's products later, and hunting is quietly the biggest compounding lever on this platform, the all-time #1 and #2 hunters have earned more points from hunting other founders' launches than from their own comments and reviews combined. a good launch is a one-time spike, but it's also an audition for becoming someone other founders want vouching for their product.

Apart from that, launching will add more kitty points ;)

We got some really good backlinks, but the biggest value was definitely the feedback. We had a few signups after the launch, which gave us enough real user feedback to rethink some parts of the product, pivot, and adapt it to what users actually needed.

So for us, the launch was more about validation and learning than just traffic.

were the signed-up users the paying ones? Or did you convert them later to paying?
