73% of our users have never seen our best-rated page.

We ranked pages by user satisfaction score from post-page surveys.

Highest-rated page: 4.8 / 5. It was a status page that showed system health and recent incidents.
Views per month: 1,400
Total monthly page views: 2.8M

The best-loved page in our product was seen by 0.05% of sessions. It was rated highly because the only people who saw it were the ones who needed it at a moment of anxiety, and it gave them exactly what they needed.

We tried to promote it. We put a status indicator in the nav. Views rose to 9,000 per month, and the satisfaction score dropped to 4.1 — because now people were seeing it casually, not urgently. The page was not better than the rest. It was better-matched to its moment.

We removed the nav indicator and kept the page as a destination people found when they needed it. The score returned to 4.7.

What is your highest-rated page, and would it stay highly rated if more people saw it?
