Hi Product Hunt! I'm excited to introduce Focumon, a productivity app with a fun twist inspired by Pokémon! As an indie developer, I've created Focumon to combine gamification with customizable productivity tools, making to fun to stay motivated. You can earn rewards, level up, and enjoy a unique, engaging way to stay on track with your goals. Plus, Focumon is community-first and you can hang out and stay accountable with like-minded trainers by forming Focus Parties! I'm still in the early stages of this journey and would love to hear your thoughts and ideas. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to me as I continue to develop and improve Focumon. Thank you for checking it out!
What is the most important value of your product?
Fun! Not everyone has the luxury of working on the thing they love, but Focumon makes it easy for it to get into a consistency cadence!
Congratulations on the launch! Wishing you a journey full of achievements and success. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to other creators?
The advice is to find your best community to serve and stick with them!
what a great concept. Especially in today's world where you can easily be distracted using a tool that helps you gamify it will help you to stay on track. Absolutely love it.
Congratulations on the app! Would really like to learn about the backstory? What motivated you to come up with focumon?

I love this so much. Huge fan that you made it collaborative as well. It actually makes me want to focus/study more so my creatures can level up. Nice job and congrats on the launch!
Thank you so much for checking it out!! I'll do my best 😆
This is so cute and fun! I can’t even express how much I’ve enjoyed these design games since childhood. You’ve taken it to another level, and now we can use it at work to really step up our game. Game plus work—what a fun app! congratulations 🙌🏽
Thank you so much!! Love gamification forever
Love the idea. To build up a community of goal oriented people using their childhood passion is ingenious, Milton. Congratulations.
Thanks for your support! There are a few of community-oriented features in Focumon! Check it out : )
This sounds like a really interesting approach, ! The concept of combining a Pomodoro timer with Pokémon elements is quite unique. I'm curious about how the leveling system works—do different tasks give different experience points or rewards? Also, will there be any social features, like challenges or leaderboards, to foster community competition among trainers? Excited to see how Focumon develops and how it could potentially enhance productivity for users! Keep us updated!
Thank you for asking! There's a few social elements in it - you can form Focus Parties for accountability grouping, and challenge world bosses together with your friends!
Cute! I really like the pixel-style UI. In order to collect all these lovely pixel monsters, I would be willing to use the Pomodoro Technique, haha. Congrats on the launch!
There's more than Pomodoro! Check out for flexible scheduling
💡 Bright idea
Congrats on the launch ! Love the concept and the art work and just how polished the product is! One thing though is I found the flow a bit complex for someone learning how to use the product. For example, you can start out the user on a starting island/city/town, so they don't have to think about the gym. They can type out what they want to do, and to-dolist is generated and points are given to each task. A few ways to reduce the options users have to make, otherwise, for me, it felt a bit too much. I also don't know what the other options are other than Pomodoro. But, this idea of growing a digital pet is awesome! Hope you grow so much that you receive a cease and desist from Nintendo, and you have to create your own world like Palworld did.
Thanks for the suggestions! Fingers crossed Nintendo ignores me forever : )
Gamification helps a lot in formig habits and building for sure requires one. This is a cool attempt in doing that 😎
Thank you so much! There are still a bunch of rough spots around the edge but I'll try my best.
fellow buildspacer here- congratulations on the launch! such an innovative idea to gamify productivity, plus the pixelated pokemons are too cute! can't wait to give it a try! lfg!
