I’ve been waiting a long time to write this. Today I’m excited to introduce Fastbreak to you.
Fastbreak is the easiest way to create good-looking marketing video.
I know there are tons of video tools out there. But honestly, none of them hit the mark. They either require a steep learning curve or put the creative burden on you. Both skills take time to acquire — which is why most still outsource the production.
Meanwhile, AI-generated video is increasingly good, but doesn’t by itself consider how it might be used, and requires a combination of stitching and layering of more “consistent” assets, like animated marketing copy or product, and brand.
Fastbreak is born out of my own a 10-year journey creating video. I spent eons inside After Effects, and worked alongside incredibly talented designers and animators to product video ads for some of my favorite brands. Big projects. Big budgets. Big annual launches.
But thats not the world of tomorrow. The user experience I’m building towards: Simplicity meets quality.
Simplicity, so that you have autonomy and the ability to produce video more frequently–as it aligns with your team’s needs.
Quality, so that you feel good about what you share and your audience is hooked.

One-click brand consistency - during onboarding, you can add your company url and the app will grab brand colors and logos that will be used to auto-style your content.
🛍️ Embeds — add images or video embeds inside any container. This is just the start.
🎛️ Widgets - widgets are pre-designed components that are needed by marketing teams to tell their stories. Today I’m releasing a small portion. Tell me what is missing and I’ll build it.
🎨 Instant layouts — pick from a selection of layouts, and automatically construct your scene
🛼 Text animations — grouped by “energy level” that you can customize if needed
🎙️ Voice-over — have an AI-generated narrator read your scene’s text out loud.
The video editor of tomorrow will look nothing like the ones today.
But I still have things to figure out, like which use-cases to prioritized and why. And building this alone, the app is still rough around the edges. But today’s launch is a step toward building that future.

minimalist phone: creating folders
I am trying it. Under "Add photo," I expected that I could add my own photo. Is there a possibility to add my own brand kit (colours, logos, images, some snippets), and AI will generate a custom-made branded video? Something similar to Mailchimp has for emails (I provide a brand media kit – it generates a custom-made layout for the newsletter).

You can add your own photo via url at the moment (upload coming next).
Brand kit at the moment includes colors and logo sourced by url. Those will then be auto-placed within your video scenes. Further images and snippets are not available atm, but sounds really cool. Can you give me an example of the kind of snippet you're thinking of?
@busmark_w_nika follow-up question as I check out Mailchimp: do you then use the custom-made layout for your newsletter or do you go back in and edit? This balance of ease-of-use and desired outcome is super interesting!

Love the focus on speed without sacrificing polish. The ability to drop in brand assets and mix ready-made blocks with fine-tuned edits could save marketing teams hours each week.
Do you support multi-format exports for platforms like Reels, Shorts, and LinkedIn?
