Espresso for Mac v3 - The web editor for Mac is back.

This is the code editor I grew up learning from, and it's the bestest. I love everything about the way it works, the animations, the interface, the features... I'm so excited to see this new update — with a design so sleek, modern and outright aesthetically GORGEOUS — so kudos to the entire MacRabbit team. ❤️👌

In a sea of un-optimized editors built on Javascript, one valiant hero returns to set right the Universe. Mac born and bred the triumphant return of the prodigal son is here better than ever.

While we are getting what are mostly literally webpages wrapped in a window, it's really nice to see such incredible attention to native UI detail and interaction in an app like this. A work of art. Download this, use it, and study it if you work in design. Oh, it does work pretty great for web work, too.

OK, so I'm always happy to see a product evolve/rise back from the ashes.. etc.. Since there are so many people who love Espresso here... what makes this better than Coda v2 or is it more a personal preference kind of thing? I'm not seeing the wow moment that I should with Espresso 3, Coda v2 feels more polished to me... but I am totally willing to be shown the light ;)
