A Slack bot using NVC & GPT to promote empathy. Conflicts in the workplace can harm employees & businesses. Empy analyzes text with NVC, rephrases messages empathetically & creates an open space for healthy communication!
Hi there, Product Hunt Community!
Hey everyone, as one of the co-founders of Empy, I'm excited to share our chat bot with you all! We understand that conflicts and misunderstandings in the workplace can be tough to navigate, and that's why we've created Empy - an AI assistant that promotes empathy in your Slack workspace.
👨 With non-violent communication (NVC) framework, Empy helps you communicate in a more productive and healthy way by analyzing text, defining evaluations from observation, and rephrasing messages in a more empathic way. This creates an open and transparent space that encourages everyone to feel heard and understood.
🫂 We're thrilled to offer Empy to the Product Hunt community, and we're confident that you'll love it as much as we do. Try Empy today and let us know how it helps improve your workplace communication!
@new_user_163720ddf7 Congratulations on the launch! Your product looks fantastic! As an empathetic person in the world of cold-blooded professionals, I am glad that general well-being and a friendly atmosphere at work get more and more attention.
I think it also would be a life-saver to all the people who are not fluent in English and often unintentionally sound passive-aggressive due to their limited vocabulary...
Best of luck with the launch, and I'm excited to see how your product grows and evolves in the future!
Wow, this sounds like a really innovative product! Does Empy offer any analytics or reporting features to help businesses track improvements in communication and conflict resolution?
@bakhrom Hi Bakhrom, we will launch our analytics & reports feature next week.
Thanks for asking if you are willing to test it first - please reach me out via e-mail aram@empy.com
Ill give you access as soon we will launch it.
@michail_shin please let me know if you need demo call with your team, we could arrange that and show you all the benefits of using Non-Violent Communication
Hey folk! Super great to see NVC incorporated into work communication through automation!
We are using discord with my teams as an alternative to Slack. Do you have any plans to support Discord? Would love to give it a try with teammates there ⚡️
@vitalykrenel hey Vitaly, yeah, we are planning to launch discord soon.
Our next milestone is deep employee analytics and emotional health report.
After that, we will launch short 10 min online courses for each empathic skill ( e.g. empathic listening, I message, how to request empathically)
And finally, as 3 step, we will launch the whole product for Discord.
But if you really want to try it for Discord right now - we could arrange a call and talk about it.
@new_user_2602260965 we don't have not of voice.
Basically, Non-Violent Communication is strict with 4 pillars.
Observation, Feelings, Needs and Request are things that do not requite ton of voice.
All you need to follow and internally check yourself out with pillars.
Clearly understand what happened to you with facts, then define your emotions, find your fulfilled / unfulfilled need and make clear request to your partner.
When you follow these simple steps - you do not need a tone of voice.
Especially in text messaging.
Amazing job! I've never seen such a thing anywhere, to be honest. What are the next steps for your product after launch? I'd love to see this bot developing further, so please feel free to share the roadmap :)
It would be great to see small pop-ups explaining why the form of users' messages looked violent, so they could understand the reasoning behind the correction.
Anyway, congrats on the launch, and good luck!
@dmitry_smolin wow thaks Dmitry!
Sounds really useful - It would be great to see small pop-ups explaining why the form of users' messages looked violent, so they could understand the reasoning behind the correction.
I think this one will be added to our road map as a potential feature.
We could really give more context why the exact message looks violent.
Sounds wonderful.
@alexey_yar we do support english only for now, soon we will add deepl as translation option to make our product available for most popular languages.
Unfortunately it will decrease our AI accuracy.
But if we see interest from market - definitely we will think about optimising our model for other languages.
Congrats! This will make world really a nicer place!)
What are customisation preferences for the rephrased empathic answer?
I Didn’t get how can I adjust it
@robertio well for now you cant adjust it.
Actually we are using Non Violent Communication pillar- Observation / Evaluation.
When we detect that your message contains evaluation (even positive one)
You will receive DM from Empy with an empathic way to rephrase it.
I don't know how we can add an adjustment for that.
