Hi πŸ‘‹ I'm Michael and I built emojination. The initial idea came to me when we were trying to hire for our previous startup. I wanted our job post to standout so we can find great engineers to join. I opened photoshop and stumbled through it. Finally, I created a simple graphic πŸ’Ž + 🍺 = πŸ₯° , a message that said we are hiring and our company logo. πŸ’Ž = Ruby Developer 🍺 = Our startup was helping Alcohol sellers & buyers πŸ₯° = We appreciate and love both. If you do too, you should apply A year later, when I was creating an online course teaching how to build a search engine I've used emojis again. πŸ”Ž + πŸ’Ž = πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“ Finally, I decided to create a simple tool to easily create such graphics. There are countless uses for emojis to express anything you want, I even used it for business analysis documents πŸ“ˆ. It is still early days and there are a lot of features & improvements planned. Give it a try, and please share your feedback below πŸ‘‡ or DM me on twitter: @yagudaev. Cheers, Michael 🍺

@shashcoffe Thanks Alexey ❀️. Can't wait to get back into production mode after gathering all the excellent feedback here. Might pick your brain on it, you seem great at asking question and getting customer feedback

@michael_yagudaev Michael, I really like the idea. πŸš€πŸ”₯ Often I don’t have a visual for my texting tweets, and that’s the solution! I want to test your pictures with emojis in my short posts and tweets. If you want to ask me more - I'm open to hopping on a Zoom call with you. Just let me know when you need me.
Roi Sorezki
So much fun, and so useful! πŸ™ŒπŸ˜Š
Michael Yagudaev
@sorezki Thanks Roi 😁. Glad you like it. What do you think I can improve upon?
Roi Sorezki
The templates idea is great; I'd say the easiest thing to do would be to offer users category-based selections (ie. Events, feature, new recruits) and maybe enable them to add background photos (you can use the imgbb API, it's free). A more complex but not 'too' complex solution would be to allow users the flexibility of moving things around, like you do on an instagram post/story; say start with a template, then allow them to put the text in the corner (as an example). I bet there's much more you could do, but these are the low handing fruits I can think of :) And again, best of luck @michael_yagudaev! 🀞

@sorezki thanks! I'm actually working on exactly that 😁. Check this out: https://twitter.com/yagudaev/sta...

I like that there's a bunch of different output sizes that also says where the image will be best suited, neat feature! πŸ‘
Michael Yagudaev
@jensnilsson Thanks Jens, I'll also be improving the overall layout for other sizes soon. Can't wait 😁

Congrats on the launch! Really cool to be able to use the editor right on the homepage, I've used Emojination (love the name) a few times and it really feels like the ideal complimentary tool for Social Media πŸ‘πŸ»

@darylpdavies wow 🀩 thank you so much for the kind words Daryl. They mean a lot and I can't wait to improve the product more.
Maria
Very interesting tool! *_* Congrats on the launch! ^_^ Does Emojination allows downloading or just sharing of creations? :))
Michael Yagudaev
@maria_brm Hi Maria, thanks πŸ™β€οΈ. You can download or copy the emojis to clipboard, I've used it to embed graphics into Figma, Powerpoint and send a fun graphic via slack or imessage. I'm working on a new iteration of the editor which will allow exporting to SVG that way you can manipulate things after with your favourite editing tools (photoshop, figma, canva, etc)
Maria

Congratz Michael, the new website looks amazing!!
Michael Yagudaev
@mertbaser Thanks Mert really appreciate it πŸ₯°. Had to face some daemons to summon the branding gods. Next stop would be color selection and then templates getting strong treatment in the product
Motyar

Emojination's approach with creating messages composed out of emojis makes a lot of sense. We all use emojis often. However embedding them in nice illustrations is a very smart idea. It expresses thoughts and ideas in a unique way. Congrats on the product Michael
Michael Yagudaev
@jost0101 Thanks for the kind words Matthias. My other friend called it an "emoji composer" which I really like. Can't wait to work more on it 😁
