@calebarclay Great! Thank you! Do I have to worry about it if a hurricane comes in my neighborhood? Plus its, not a flat-flat roof right, it has some slant (couldn't see a top view)? Had a bad experience with those. I found another perfect use case for it. I'll try to convince my dad to buy one too so I can make the pool deck looks like this: https://www.contemporist.com/11-... I just need to figure out how to build rest.
Caleb Barclay
@jessehojjensen I can send you some information about the slope and extreme weather conditions if you go through the form. That pool deck is nice!

It just looks cool. Won't have much demand because it doesn't take a lot of time in setting up your personal office and usually many have a similar setup already at home. Just a table and a chair. Normal people won't buy it because there's no jobs and constant money flow. So will try to save money. And rich people won't buy because if they're rich enough, they should have a great house with office setup too. Architects aren't stupid. It's a fancy idea that sounds really great but I don't think people will prefer buying it. Quite a harsh truth. The founder should be aware of this thing.

@iamromec Are you joking? There are always demands for stuff like this. Especially if the market it toward America and Canada. We Americans buy anything, which is also why we are debt. Normal people buy tiny homes and sheds for offices. This product is better and costs less than an ugly, old fashioned designed shed (depending on the customization of course). Free power from the sun? Oh yeah! Normal people want to work outside next to their home and not IN their home. Used to be that way at my house but then you realize work and home should be separate spaces or you will feel like you are always at work and you never left. It helps people sleep better when they don't work in the same place they rest. Some rich people are smart about what they want, some prefer simple things like this. Plus it has less space to clean and cost less than another small mini-offices on the market. Some people just want a little space or "me" time as an entrepreneur to do work or network online. Sure the normal people will save now, and the monthly payment plans are like buying Tesla, but they will definitely buy one of these! And if they come up with more payment options that would be even better. Architects have built small spaces for leisure too. I used to take architecture classes. This product has a less ecological footprint and can be transported, which is great. It's better than going to a big building office and has other people there. This is perfect for the Pandemic we are having cause now you can work in a space close to home, can't even go out now. If you want to find stupid architects just go to the housing community that has the same house that looks like the one next to and across from it. I feel bad for them since they need it for the job :/ Yesterday there were 50 left (when I checked it the first time) now there is 22.

This looks amazing, wish I could have one. Maybe once I got enough space and budget, I'd definitely enjoy having a small studio like this. Just a little feedback if it helps: While I was instantly filling the form, I noticed that "heating and cooling" part of the customisation process seemed a bit hidden. It might be better if that section looks like the rest of the options, with images and larger selection area.
Caleb Barclay
@burakdogramaci Great catch. Putting that on the list.

I have created similar concept in my garden, much bigger and paid $6000 premium quality built in 3 days, with electricity all windows etc...
Caleb Barclay
@deambulando I'd love to hear about how you did it. Was it a DIY build? If you can, send me a DM. Would love to find out more.
Chema
@calebarclay We hired a company that specializes in aluminum carpentry , 15*4 meters. looks a lot like what you offer.

Please show dimensions in the metric system or add some toggle. It is frustrating having to convert that manually
Caleb Barclay
@mediavrog Great feedback. Will be working on getting that in there.

Can it have a deskless option? I have a great desk already. Can it be soundproof? I'm thinking it'd be great for podcast recording too. Can it be transported easily if moving to another city?
Caleb Barclay
@bambi_weavil Yes, it comes desk-less actually. Yes, you can easily transport it anywhere, it's not attached to a permanent foundation. Hmmm, I'll look into soundproofing. With the glass, it might be tricky but maybe there is a product that could be placed over the glass temporarily...

Amazing!
Brain Favors
This is amazing, I want one! Do we need to worry about any permits or regulations with zoning, etc?
Caleb Barclay
@brain_favors In most cities, you don't need a permit for a structure under 120sf (which all these units are). Sometimes, cities will have other requirements so it's best to call your city to confirm what those are - search "{your city} residential permit contact" and give them a call. Feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss it in more detail.
Jacob Eeckhout
Nice. Do you ship to Belgium?
Caleb Barclay
@jacobeeckhout I'm really sorry I missed this question but we only ship to the US and Canada, unfortunately.
Jacob Eeckhout
@calebarclay no worries. OK, understood.
