Dune Keypad - Context-aware Mac keypad, w/ Claude + community extensions

by
Dune is a context-aware keypad for Mac that now builds around you. Create shortcuts just by talking to Claude, browse a Marketplace of community-built scripts, and assign any workflow to your three keys across the apps you use. From meetings to dev tools to everyday tasks, Dune adapts instantly so the right action is always one keypress away.

Build with Claude is the move that shifts this from a hardware product to a platform. The interesting failure case is when a user describes a workflow that the available scripts cannot cover, and Claude either generates something plausible that breaks silently or refuses and the user is left where they started. How are you handling that gap on the maker side? Is there a feedback path from failed conversations back into the curated Marketplace queue so the gaps become the next batch of scripts? The Mac surface area is huge and the long tail of “I do this five times a day” is exactly where the value sits.

@zimasilevuyo agree. It's tricky to let people build on their own using Claude, what we have done after a few iterations is add a mandatory verification step when a new script is built on claude. That's been helpful. Updation of existing scripts on marketplaces is currently managed by our team. We will see later how to scale this.
