@kosvke I'd be interested to know how you are thinking of dealing with drone damage?
This seems like it could be a bit of an issue as these are liable to crashing into things particularly with inexperienced fliers that are (more?) likely to be renting...
thanks @rrhoover for inviting me to producthunt!
@yvoschaap, though it might be some time till we're out to amsterdam, don't buy it you rent it from us and test it out with us :)
@tommoor, we're offering a few options. 1) we'll teach you how to fly a drone, a drone school and flying program 2) or you can just rent the drone (only if you've done #1 before). 3) Another option is that you can rent the drone with a pilot and get the footage. they're all at different rates.
as far as drone damages goes, most of the components and parts that tend to break are largely inexpensive, like arms, propellers, body frame. the only expensive things are the stabilizer gimbal, gopro, flight controllers, GPS and batteries which are usually house within the drone, or more protected.
So, the pieces that we do damage, we're just looking to buy them in bulk or 3D print.
