Deta Base is the fastest way to add a database to your project: it takes 3 lines of code. Base is also really fast (avg. of 8ms/op on AWS), as well as encrypted, scalable, and globally available.
A month ago, @_abdelhai reached out to me after seeing my tweet complaining about how messy the process of deploying an app was.
We ended up talking about how things could get better for devs working on small projects. It's intimidating to spin up a new database, setup tables (or a schema), write complex queries, and all that boring stuff.
I've used Deta Base for the last week, with https://i-am.club and https://skrrt.fun - and every time I had a problem, the team and Deta fixed it in a few hours. Super excited to see where this product goes :)
I remember starting to program w/ the help of bundled environments that came w/ apache, php, mysql, phpmyadmin and so on. The last few years in platforms and tooling partially felt like progress but at the same time also like an explosion in complexity. Super curious about deta and the concept of providing an environment that allows for tinkering and at the same time has a path to production.
