CtrlOps 1.0 - Your server. Audited, managed, and deployed with AI.
by•
Do you actually know who has access to your servers right now?
CtrlOps gives you a security hardening score across 25 checks, a PDF audit report, and fix commands for every issue found. See who can log into every server, revoke access from your whole fleet in one click, and assign any level of roles/access without touching the terminal. Every log file, found and searchable without SSH. Deploy any app from GitHub in minutes. 100% local. Your credentials never leave your machine.

CtrlOps
Hey 👋
We know you’re happy with CtrlOps as an SSH client.
But we kept asking ourselves:
What if CtrlOps could do more than just connect to your servers?
So this time, we're going beyond SSH clients.
Your server shouldn’t require you to remember a command for everything.
Need to check security?
→ Run a full security audit.
Need to remove someone's access?
→ Do it across your servers in one action.
Need to find a log?
→ Search and tail it without SSH.
Need to restart a PM2 process?
→ One click.
Need to create a server user?
→ Do it from the UI.
Need to move from Termius?
→ Import your hosts and SSH keys in ~30 seconds.
Need to protect your CtrlOps setup?
→ Lock it with Vault Lock.
Need to move your CtrlOps setup to another machine?
→ Backup and restore everything.
And we’ve added 14+ more improvements across Deployments, File Manager, AI Terminal, and Infra Details.
This is our second Product Hunt launch.
The first launch helped us prove the idea.
The conversations after that launch helped us understand what DevOps teams actually need.
So we went back to work.
More listening.
More shipping.
Less repetitive terminal work.
Our mission hasn't changed:
Simplify DevOps.
But CtrlOps has grown far beyond being just an SSH client.
If you manage Linux servers, we'd love to have you try the new CtrlOps.
And tell us:
What should we take beyond SSH next?
@daxesh_italiya Wow This is really a great product,i have question please,I am currently using AWS EC2 and the OS I m using Linux, so this is actually a problem I am facing honestly because I find it difficult to learn every terminal command, like I know almost 20% of the running command while using ChatGPT for the rest 80% of the commands, so now can you please enlight me more on how this actually works with example of how it can help me in my work?
CtrlOps
@daxesh_italiya @alamin001 Thanks so much, really glad it resonates with you!
That's exactly the problem CtrlOps was built for. You don't need to know the commands at all, you just describe what you want in plain English, and the AI figures out the right command for your actual server.
Here's a real example. Say your app is running slow on your EC2 instance. Instead of Googling or asking ChatGPT and copying commands blindly, you'd just type into CtrlOps: "why is my server running slow?"
The AI Terminal looks at your actual server, live CPU, memory, running processes, and figures out what's actually happening. It then shows you the exact command it wants to run, explains what that command does, and waits for you to approve it before anything runs. Nothing executes without your yes.
That's the big difference from copying commands out of ChatGPT: this AI already knows your real server, not just guessing generically, and it never runs anything behind your back.
Since you're on EC2, you can connect it directly (we support .pem key files), and it works the same way whether you're deploying, debugging, or just checking server health.
Happy to answer anything else, or point you to a quick demo video if that'd help!
@daxesh_italiya @alamin001 @parth_makwana07 I usually just copy-paste from ChatGPT anyway, so having it built-in with actual server context is a game-changer. congrats team
@daxesh_italiya @parth_makwana07 actually your team did a great job for figuring this kind of problem we are facing on our daily task, this is really a game changer, you guys are solving real problem, you did a great job
CtrlOps
@daxesh_italiya Happy to build it together!
@daxesh_italiya The one-click server actions caught my attention. Being able to manage users, PM2 processes, and logs without writing commands could save a lot of repetitive work.
CtrlOps
@daxesh_italiya @julian_ting2 We want to make it easy to use; that's why. The user always comes first!
Glad you like it; feel free to use it and share your feedback with us!

@daxesh_italiya How does the access management handle different roles across different servers?
CtrlOps
@daxesh_italiya @mohsinproduct CtrlOps handles access management across different servers by using individual SSH key pairs for each user, assigning roles with specific permissions, and managing these keys per server. Roles like Administrator, Developer, Operator, and Auditor have defined access levels, such as full access, deployment rights, monitoring, or read-only.
You can add SSH keys to specific servers, assign roles, set expiration dates, and view activity logs from a central dashboard, ensuring secure, role-based access control across your server fleet.
@daxesh_italiya How does Vault Lock protect the CtrlOps setup, especially when working across multiple machines?

@parth_makwana07 This launch feels extra special after everything we’ve shipped since our first launch. 🚀
CtrlOps
The first launch taught us a lot.
This launch is about what we did with those lessons. 🚀
We listened to DevOps teams.
We found the repetitive pain points.
We turned them into simpler workflows.
And we kept shipping.
From SSH → to server management.
From commands → to one-click actions.
From managing one server → to managing your fleet.
CtrlOps is no longer just an SSH client now.
We shipped
🔐 Security Audits: 25 checks + hardening score + fixes
👥 Access Management: onboard/offboard across your fleet
🧑💻 Custom User Roles: create users without SSH
📜 Log Management: search, tail & download logs
⚙️ PM2 Manager: monitor & control processes
🔒 Vault Lock: protect your CtrlOps setup
🚀 Termius Migration: move hosts & keys in ~30 seconds
💾 Backup & Restore: move your complete setup easily
and many more improvements
We're building the easier way to manage infrastructure.
Second launch.
More feedback.
More shipping.
Same mission:
Simplify DevOps. 🚀
CtrlOps
@hiren_kalariya Happy to build it together!
Nice evolution from first launch. Are you going to add more than 25 audit reports too? Because DevOps has lot more to audit and manage.
CtrlOps
@tocza Thank you for the appreciation, man. Yes, you are going to get more than 25+ audits. We will add more.
@parth_makwana07 Really Impressive progress! What's The next major feature you're planning to add?
CtrlOps
@tocza Anha, looks like you are excited.
Here's our roadmap: https://ctrlops.io/roadmap
Also, Docker is the main plan.
Anything special you want??
Custom user roles finally. Been wanting this for so long time. We have a QA & developer person who needs read access to staging servers and the only options before were give full access or nothing. let me try

CtrlOps
@makadiaharsh Thanks a lot for supporting, man!
ClawMetry
Okay, this is way beyond SSH now :) The security audit and fleet access management are probably my favorite additions
CtrlOps
@vivek_chand Haha yeah, we definitely didn't want to just be "another SSH client" 😄
Glad the audit and access management stood out, those were the ones we were most excited to ship too. Appreciate you checking it out!
Harden
Congrats on the launch, team! Very excited to try this product out. The best thing I really like about CtrlOps is that it is 100% local.
CtrlOps
@kartikrawatt Thanks a lot, Kartik, for your best wishes.
Yes, we care about users' privacy and security; that's why we keep it 100% local.
User first!
CtrlOps
@parth_solanki Thank you for the appreciation, Parth bhai. Glad it added value.

Curious to know what is coming next after this launch !!
CtrlOps
@amraniyasser It's very big, man.
Here's our roadmap: https://ctrlops.io/roadmap
Pricing strategy and Onboarding flow will change by next month.
Also, there is one more surprise for you!
