Why do most B2B SaaS tools ignore the "Fractional Executive" economy?
Hey everyone! We just launched ConsultFlow on Product Hunt today, and during our build phase, we noticed a massive structural blind spot in the SaaS industry.
Software is generally built for two extremes:
Massive enterprise corporations with huge IT deployment budgets (Salesforce, HubSpot).
Creative freelancers who just need a basic, stylized invoice template (HoneyBook, Bonsai).
But right now, there is an explosion of high-earning independent consultants, fractional CMOs/CFOs, and boutique agency owners. They operate as corporate B2B entities, not hobbyists. Yet, they are forced to use a fragmented Frankenstein stack of spreadsheets and unrelated tools to survive.
We built ConsultFlow to give them a single operational command center that connects upstream client pipelines directly to downstream financial auditing.
I’d love to hear from the builders and consultants in the community:
If you consult or freelance, what is the most frustrating part of your admin routine?
Do you prefer ultra-customizable tools (like Notion templates) or highly structured, dedicated platforms?
