Congrats on launching! Felt this exact problem and luckily stumbled upon Stoopinbox.com, how does your app differentiate from them? Why should I make the leap? I have specific issues with Stoop as well so interested to know if your product solves those issues
@freddieo Thanks! Stoop provides you with a custom email address which you then need to go to the newsletter website and subscribe/unsubscribe to the newsletter. Once you subscribe you then need to wait for the next issue of that newsletter to be published to start reading it.
With NewsBox, you can simply go to the newsletter and click subscribe within the app, your inbox is then auto populated with previous issues of that newsletter!
NewsBox is more about creating a network of newsletters, where you can subscribe and unsubscribe at any time. The idea of creating a network of newsletters opens up alot more opportunities for features such as creating communities and allowing users to read before subscribing, which I hope to bring to the app soon!
I'm interested to hear what specific issues you have with Stoop?
As I started to become more reliant on newsletters for consuming news and other content, my email inbox started to become cluttered with newsletters, taking the attention away from important emails which I needed to reply to.
I then started to think of the benefits of a platform designed specifically for newsletters, where I can subscribe and unsubscribe from newsletters with just one click, and get instant access to newsletter issues as soon as I subscribe.
This is exactly what NewsBox does, you can explore newsletters, hit subscribe and your inbox is automatically populated with previous issues of the newsletter!
Great idea, it's like a feedly for newsletters. I'm looking forward to more swipable management of the content though.
Great idea!

Cool stuffs, very similar to what @slickinbox is doing too, but I am curious how does it work?
Does the app work directly with the creators and still sign the users up?
One of the thing I am doing with Slick is to try to be mindful of how it fits into creators' workflow, and make sure it does not disrupt it too much.
For example some are concerned that people using @slickinbox.com emails means that creators lose the relationship with their readers - I'm curious how is NewsBox able to sign users up without interaction from users? Do the creators still get to foster their relationships with their readers?
