Hey, thanks for hunting us @jpatlab!
We've been working hard over the last few months on CoinFalcon and have been experiencing incredible growth recently. Currently we support, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, IOTA and will be adding more currencies soon. You can buy/sell coins using a simple and quick interface or get more advanced with limit orders using our trading view or API.
If you are interested in working remotely on a fast growing cryptocurrency exchange, we are hiring Rails engineers! Send an email to careers@coinfalcon.com if you are interested.
I get the idea and nice UI execution which most likely attract people (this is the wrong reason to attract people though).
I give more fault to ProductHunt team for tweeting it as a Coinbase competitor, which is not as they dont deal with euros, usd etc.
Pros:
Sleak UI
Cons:
- I dont see the pros.
- Doesnt support fiat currency.
Report
It does support Fiat currency- Euros.

I would love to check this out, but there is a checkbox on the sign up page that states: "I certify that I am not a U.S. citizen, resident or entity (a U.S. Person) nor am I acting on behalf of a U.S. Person." which at first glance doesn't make a lot of sense, but basically means that you can't sign up if you are an American...
That's fine, but it should be much more clear before you even get to the sign up page, and not just put it as a checkbox that most people aren't likely to fully read.
Pros:
None - Can't use it.
Cons:
Non-Americans Only

I can't use Coinbase, seems fair 😆Also the thing with hidden geographical restrictions is not just super annoying, it's more like 'go and put your stupid website in your ass' annoying, especially when you live in a shithole kind of country, and therefore like every second website on the Internet that deals with money does not allow you to create an account.
Or worse, it does let you register, but when you try to actually use it, it doesn't let you. I've been a victim of a notorious design like this a couple of times, and after that the first thing I do when I visit a financial website is opening the user agreement. Helped me to save a couple of hours. Life makes you learn haha.

Yea, it's like walking into a restaurant you're excited to try out but then noticing it's cash only

I have transfered bitcoin on their wallet, I see that they transfered the coins to one other wallet one day after. I have tried to withdraw my coins 4 days later but the coins never come, I have asked them, they first send me a fake hashtag and no transaction exist, then they send me an old transaction that did not match with my transfer. At the end they stopped answering my email. This organisation is totally a scam and they are stealing people money. If you are victim, report them to action fraud on https://www.actionfraud.police.u...

UX designer here, and this product looks fantastic! However, wasn't sure if I'd be able to use as a US-based user
Report
@chedglen you can't. The signup process requires you to certify you're not a US person (resident or citizen)
Report
@chedglen You cannot, though they don't really disclose this until the sign up page. They hint at it on the landing/home page "European Exchange".
The user photos on here are stock images. The design looks sharp but that seems a bit disingenuous no?

Advice: don't use this exchange, they don't care about the law or your money, illegal activities. I have already started a procedure against them. Someone has to stop them.

@lorenz_metz No ... I don't wanna have anything to do with Coinfalcon anymore. I'm already in legal proceedings against Coinfalcon, but it will take some more time. My lawyer is busy with it.
@crowx Yes, currently, that is our only IOTA market. You can always deposit ETH or LTC and exchange it for BTC.

Sr. Product Designer (UI/UX) here… Yeah, nice UI, but that doesn't make a product. Can't use it because it doesn't support USD. Coinbase UI & UX is simple enough to use, so, not really sure how comparing the two is a "value prop" in this scenario. Too much demand? Coinbase has an exchange, GDAX, which allows people move/make a market using their Coinbase account, so unless CoinBird also has an exchange, I don't see the value in switching. Again, it's not USD compatible, so I'm going off what I can see and not what I can do.
*Edit* They do have an exchange with "thousands" of happy users.
sorry but please check the your site, it doesnt work with https://coinfalcon.com/ + ?ref=producthunt i cant load the site on chrome Version 62.0.3202.94 @jordansteeves
