Visually revamped the CogniFocus landing page to explain the product in 5 seconds
Completed a massive overhaul of the CogniFocus website. The original landing page was too text-heavy and I came to understand that people must know what the product is about within the first five seconds. This was my primary goal while designing the new landing page. The following topics received visual emphasis
-> Hero section now explains the product visually within seconds
-> the issue of scrolling through the screen just once
-> switching between applications
-> distraction in the middle of a session
-> why regular countdowns don't work.
I also updated the homepage layout, made SEO more coherent with the content, optimized the description of the Goblin reactions and Distraction Shield and tried to emphasize the uniqueness of the product more than its productivity aspect. I’m still working out some details, but the current version seems much closer to reality
What do you think about it?

@milescward Honestly, I’m still learning SEO myself 😭 A lot of it came from studying what users were actually searching for through Google Search Console + Bing Webmaster Tools, then making sure the landing page language matched those behaviors naturally instead of stuffing keywords everywhere.
I also used Claude quite a bit for audits/content direction and tried tools like Ranked AI to understand keyword opportunities, content gaps, metadata/schema improvements and overall page structure. Most of the work ended up being less about “hacking SEO” and more about making the product/problem clearer to both users and search engines.
@milescward you can also use this Site Audit & Page Audit to understand where your website stands for certain keywords you are trying to rank for , Happy to share :) My Pleasure
@milescward Appreciate it! Looking forward to seeing it once it’s up 😄 Honestly, I’m still learning SEO myself, Good Luck :)
The visual is very helpful. First impressions are super important. Great work
@blakeatvassant Appreciate it! I realized people understood the product much faster once the behavior was shown visually instead of being explained through long paragraphs.
Visual clarity made a much bigger difference than adding more text ever did
