CodeRabbit VSCode Extension - Free AI code reviews directly in the IDE
by•
Code, review, commit: all without leaving your IDE. CodeRabbit acts as a backstop that flags hallucination, logical errors, code smells, missed unit tests, and more.
congrats team, @gursingh how well does it understand component trees and prop drilling in React or Vue? Has it been trained on real-world frontend codebases?

interesting! for large open source repos - can I auto-assign CodeRabbit as a reviewer on all PRs with specific labels?

My favourite extension by far. Claude review seems close but CodeRabbit has been the top dog for a good while now

We use CodeRabbit integration for our Github PR review. I like the flowchart it generates and the checkup it can do.

@putrevu congrats! do you see CodeRabbit AI eventually replacing human reviewers in certain workflows, or is it more about augmenting their work?
Here for the water bottle launch, but found something way better. Congratz on the launch guys 🎉

this is cool. coderabbit has proved to be useful, even with all the competition. nice work.

This is exactly what solo founders building without a team need.
Code review is the biggest blind spot when you're the only developer on a project. You get too close to your own code to catch logical errors. missed edge cases, or security gaps that a second set of eyes would catch instantly. Having an AI backstop directly in VS code that flags these before commit is genuinely valuable.
The hallucination detection angle is interesting, most AI code tools hallucinate confidently, so catching that inline is a real differentiator.
Just installed it. Will report back after running it on a real Next.js codebase.
