Congrats on the launch! 🎉 That video is hilarious and super creative—reminds me of the Flight of the Conchords music videos 😂 Truly unhinged. Quick q: In your opinion, what would you say separates your product from something like Loom? I'm currently using Loom, but could be swayed to make the switch 😉 Congrats again! I've never seen so many comments on a Product Hunt launch 😲

@matthew_ritchie hey Matt! Loom is really great for quick video messaging but hasn't been designed for feedback, alignment & decision-making. We've added features to facilitate that like annotations & comments linked to both a time stamp and zone of your screen, or threads/polls/reactions for decision-making. We've also built our workspace with this idea of easing async collaboration with a system of team/topics to better centralize updates, feedback and decisions.

Claap intro video is great. Just wondering how it is different from Loom? I think it is completely fine if it is an alternative for loom. I am looking for async video messaging platform, so would like to understand the Loom vs Claap

@lakshmantgld hey Iakshman! I love Loom as a great way to share quick video recording of your screen and facilitate communication. The idea of Claap is to make it super easy and smooth to collect feedback & make decisions. This is the reason why we've added (on top of video recording) features to facilitate feedback (linked to a time-stamp & zone of your screen), alignement and make decisions (threads, votes, reactions, etc..). The workspace has also been designed to power this vision of creating a system of record for feedback and decisions. Hope it's clearer :)
