I built BudgetLuma because I couldn’t find an app that handled three things honestly at once: separate contexts for my money, real shared expenses, and multi-currency that matched my actual bank statement. Every app I tried either wanted bank access, dumped everything into one list, or silently replaced the rate my card charged with a generic one. So I built the app I wanted. Solo, in my free time.
