@dkb868 Hi there 👋🏿 Thank you DKB! BlacksWhoDesign was created to highlight inspiring Black Designers all across the industry. Personally, as someone just starting my career in tech, I've benefitted from being able to connect with and be inspired by so many folks who look like me building amazing products and thriving in this industry. Bringing them together in one place so others can grow as well just seemed like the next step.

@dkb868 @edisonjoao6871 It definitely was, in fact the support of Pablo (from Latinx Who Design) and Jules (from Women Who Design) helped us get this initiative started. In any case we saw how great this resource would be and went full steam ahead to create this!

@edisonjoao6871 @nathalyn_nunoo That's very cool, didn't know about those projects. Stuff like this is definitely helpful to underrepresented communities. Shows people that they aren't alone and gives them people to reach out to. Keep up the good work, and ignore the haters.

I love this idea! Seeing a lot of communities empowering different groups of people these days, doing wonders for the cause of diversity with all the support that is being given in these communities!
