I tested few articles on bablic and it's working nice but saw the Internet user by language stats on your website: I am kind of doubtful on that. Is there any research report or survey you people did for above stats ? or any supporting reference?

well I see the stats are very drilled down to some good levels like *french people more likely to buy things online in their native language*. However the PDF is published of 2006 that's almost a decade old and now figures might have changed drastically. So, i suggest to look for updated research report.

Id like updated numbers, but these numbers are not surprising. Now that everyone's grannies have iPads, consumer sense applies even more now. Start up people who market towards other tech people are not the norm.

Sorry to hear that! It would have been a USP for your product, but have to stick with what I have now and cannot migrate. Cant stress out the fact that fuzzy string support is something very, very important for multi-site localization.

Fuzzy matching has been a part of machine based localization for many years - but results will always require eyeballing.
can you do the same with native mobile apps?

Hi Ouriel! At the moment only Phonegap/Cordova based - but it's definitely in our future plans :)
How is this different from Transifex and Qordoba?

Hi Amit! Qordoba seems to be more of a Enterprise solution - you can't even try it right on their website or take a look at pricing without requesting a demo. We are more of a self-serve platform targeted at small businesses/startups who don't have a budget in the $10k+ for using a solution like Qordoba, yet we offer most if not all of the same features, functionality. In terms of Transifex, they recently launched their Live version which is basically something similar to our user-friendly, visual, editor but they still have a long way to go. For example, I don't see that you can manually replace images or even fix style/css issues with just a right-click in their editor, like you can with ours. Their pricing also makes this somewhat of a limited solution for small businesses/startups/bloggers and so on - they price based on words they host. So for example, if I'm a startup based in Montreal and I want my huge (160k+ words) Docs, Helpdesk, FAQ section translated to French - using Transifex it'll cost me $300 - using Bablic you can achieve the same goal for only $15 a month... Thank you for the kind words! What's amazing is we let you manually edit/fix translations with just a click, as well as replace images and fix style/css issues that almost always happen when translating a website!
Is there are guaranteed accuracy level for the machine translation?
There are no guarantees in machine translation so it would be interesting to see if they would try.

We definitely don't guarantee nor recommend the machine translation. The idea is to let users start off with machine translation as a base and then let them manually edit text with just a right-click in our editor. Users can also order professional human translation right from Bablic's editor. I think machine-translation still has a long way to go in terms of accuracy, but some combinations for example English/French, English/Spanish require really minimal improvement so that's a good sign.

Can you please let me know how SEO works on this? As this looks like a JS based solution. Isn't it better to have separate sub domains similar to how dakwak.com handles translation? Or can we have en.site.com etc. using Bablic as well?

Hi there! Yes we do support subdomains (fr.domain.com), custom domains (domain.fr for example) and even subdirectories (domain.com/fr) - and Google did announce recently that they index and crawl Javascript :)
How do you determine what a page view is? Is it only translated page views?
