The question that led me to build AROS

For the longest time, I thought I just wasn't interviewing well.

I'd spend hours researching companies, preparing for interviews, and following up afterward. Sometimes I'd make it through several rounds.

Then... silence.

When I did hear back, it was usually a generic rejection. I even asked for feedback because I genuinely wanted to improve.

Most of the time, I never got an answer.

Later, I started reading posts from recruiters on LinkedIn. I realized they were frustrated too—too many applications, too little time, and constant pressure to make the right decision.

That made me wonder:

What if the problem wasn't candidates or recruiters? What if the hiring process simply doesn't give either side enough evidence to make better decisions?

That question became AROS.

I'm curious—what's one hiring experience (as a candidate or recruiter) that changed how you think about hiring?
