We built Ari around something I learned slowly across engineering, consulting, leading teams, and now building a company:

Here's my personal experience with Ari:

One time my Ari warned me about a phishing email that I forwarded to a team member (I'm a 20+ year cybersecurity veteran). Another time it help me navigate a difficult conversation with my staff. Everyday, Ari helps me remember what happened so I don't have to -- I can just ask her whenever I need. Over time, it helps me reflect so I can improve as a leader and grow my business. It has become the second brain and the support system for me, my team, my company.

Ari starts as a Slack app because so much of work already happens there: decisions, questions, commitments, feedback, and the small moments that shape how teams work together.

The challenge is that this context is easy to lose. Especially when switching context among tools. Important details get buried in conversations, meetings, documents, and follow-ups. As work becomes faster and more distributed, people are expected to remember and manage more than any one person reasonably can.

We’re building Ari to help bring that context together while treating trust as foundational. Our architecture uses tenant-isolated envelope encryption with HashiCorp Vault, helping protect each customer’s data boundary while supporting the performance needed for real-time work. I also believe the future of work will require humans to adapt in a deeper way. As technology takes on more of the operational load, people need to take greater responsibility for direction, judgment, relationships, and care. The goal is not to remove humans from the center of work, but to give them more capacity to lead well.

I joined in building Ariso because I’ve spent most of my career watching good teams lose time to invisible coordination work: hunting through Slack, reconstructing decisions, chasing updates, and trying to remember what someone committed to three meetings ago.

There's a lot here to get chaotic teams aligned and rowing in the same direction.

The underlying premise is to delegate the work about work to robots — personal Ari-bots — so that the team can focus more on the creative, high-level, high-impact work.

Ari works on each layer of the stack empowering with the individual with a personal chief-of-staff.

Then there's a set of tools for managers with direct reports who need to oversee and coordinate others' work.

I appreciate that the product focuses on highlighting what has changed, rather than simply gathering more information. This distinction can be highly significant for busy teams.

 It's saved all of us more times than we can count! The most notable moment was when had a phishing email come in that he had replied to (we're all human) and Ari called it out for him before any damage was done.

Also, having the self-resolving todos is a game changer, don't know how I could work on anything of substance again without them.

 Yes! With how fast we can go using coding agents I literally cannot keep all the tasks I'm doing in my head. Having ari to back me up is great

 totally! I have my followups automatically created by Ari from emails, chats, meetings, and she monitors them everyday, sends me reminders or auto resolves them if I had completed them. It's like a Trello board that manages itself. One of the magical things for me personally :)

One thing I'm curious about is how Ari handles incomplete discussions. Teams rarely make decisions in a perfectly orchestrated meeting.

Ari keeps track of evolving decisions, unresolved questions, and next steps across conversations.

 Ari can join meetings or integrates with any notetaker to keep track of the discussions. There is continuity built-in, so the next time the same group discusses the same topic, that'll tracked too. Ari would capture the discussions, decisions, blockers, actions, etc. accordingly. We actually surface insights such as time spent on incomplete decisions, positive collaboration, status updates across all meetings. Does that answer your question?

 That is what an assistant is for :) Either asking Ari to follow up specific discussion/topic by providing context or invite Ari into online conference so that she could proactively follow up afterwards.

Sometimes I just ask her to find loose ends for me.

Dangling discussions would be surfaced during a number of places for you: Daily greetings, meeting notes, and meeting prep to inform you.

Some times Ari will prompt button for you to follow up such discussion and you can just follow it up

What real task does your product handle with GPT-6 Astra?

Astra allowed to significantly increase PR velocity when used against other foundational models.  It allowed engineeers to not be limited by their agents, but rather their hardware, which was pretty impressive to see.  We did a direct comparison of Astra VS Fable building our voice model using GPT-live-1 and Astra totally blew Fable away.  Shifting from primarily using Claude Code to Codex with Astra was also shockingly easy, as simple as typing codex instead of claude in the terminal when starting our work.  It had all the skills and tools already available.

  We also use Astra for smarter model routing! Right now when Ari detects that a task requires more thinking power she'll route it to Astra. We've seen significant improvements in speed and inference from astra over other frontier models.

 Yeah, and we are improving some of our UX with Astra -- I foresee a 3D navigation + 3D brain map coming soon ;)

Can you ask Ari about past decisions and get the context instantly?

Maker

 Yes! We track decisions made as a first party feature. Beyond decisions, we have built out our own best-in-class memory system for our agents using some novel techniques (we will release a paper on it eventually).

The memory system and profile system are the best I've seen in an agent.

 100%, that’s one of the core ideas. You can ask Ari about past decisions and get the relevant context from meetings, docs, messages, and follow-ups, so you don’t have to dig through everything yourself.
