A new type of customizable Animoji is coming to iPhone X. Now you can easily create a Memoji to match your personality and mood. You can make as many alter egos as you want to use in Messages and FaceTime.

Personally I look forward to using this, just for those days when I feel slightly cartoonish! LOL
Of course we all saw this coming following the popularity of Animoji (). I'm a fan, although will people use Memoji regularly after the novelty fades in 1-2 weeks? I believe we'll see more of our communication occur through avatars in the future but I'm not sure this is the format or context where it will take off.

Looking forward to giving it a try!
