Not gunna get me to switch from Spotify, sorry. But this does demonstrate that deep personalization like this has become table stakes for streaming services.
So much can change in a year, it's great tbh. Apple Music offers WAY more than Spotify now. The tables have turned haha.
I think this is great for people who are already using Apple Music. For Spotify users like me, this just gets me excited about seeing MY Spotify Wrapped for this year because well, Spotify got all their insights (and my thousands of listening hours) on me.
It’s identity theft website. Don’t give your personal information. It’s not official apple website
It's literally Apple's own music website (link: ). Don't spread misinformation like that.
Hmmm, Spotify still feels so good though
it gives me an error and I can't access it
It's good to see Apple finally doing something like this- they're way too late in this game. The replay page looks gorgeous, but is only semi-functional and glitches out quite a lot. I couldn't open this page in Apple Music's mac app either: you have to open it on the web which is just silly because it makes me log in again (bad UX) - and their site just doesn't work correctly most of the time. All in all, I'd say it's too little too late and I'm shocked how bad quality control got at Apple. Apart from the glitches, it just doesn't show you a lot of information. Sure, you get your most played albums and most played songs, but you can make a smart playlist in Music that does that for you- and I've been doing that for 2 years already. Even worse- that playlist updates immediately instead of "refreshing every week". It doesn't show you which genres you listened to and it doesn't show you comparisons to what you listened to last year. It's lackluster and it shows Apple Music is still nowhere near where they should be in terms of recommending songs- because they don't know me after 2 years of using AM. They also don't take custom uploaded songs into account- this page only includes Apple Music's content. Since that's like 70% of the music I listened to, it's useless to me.
