As a former high school basketball player, I am amazed that more technology is not created for young athletes.
ShotTracker would have been the perfect tool during my basketball career, and would have helped me identify me become a more metrics oriented player.
I've personally used the technology and it worked exceptionally well. It will be interesting to see if established companies (Nike, Under Armour, etc.) develop their own systems or if a company like ShotTracker becomes a partner or acquisition target.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
What other sports could wearable tech help? Any other interesting technology opportunities in the space?
Hey Jeff! Sorry to do this but Shottracker was posted earlier here: http://www.producthunt.co/posts/...
The dupe check will catch these in he future when it matches the same domain. In the future, please post the direct URL to their site as opposed to their angel list profile. :)
