Has anyone tried it yet? Some of the tech inside would be useful "outside" too. I'm thinking of Cloud Canvas for example https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lumb... Free engine is great, it also monetises their services but, Game Engines are hard to do for just another AWS sales channel. Is Amazon preparing to release a games console?

@diogosnows They have CryEngine, and now push new creators to use it with AWS. IMO this will bring more games to market, new ideas and VR too new level.

@andrejuseu I actually want it for non gaming applications :) or does it already exist?
Andrejus Zlotnikovas
@diogosnows Could you be more specific about function you want with it for non-gaming?

@andrejuseu ignore me, I think this is what I wanted http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCl...

Chatting with game developer friends, the biggest skepticism is the lack of trust on amazon as a game tech developer. Is there mote information on the team behind this? Or demos running on it?
Andrejus Zlotnikovas
@diogosnows It's still in beta. You can download it and play with Legacy Game Sample (CryEngine GameSDK) from https://aws.amazon.com/lumberyar...

I'm very interested to see what comes out of this. It can't hurt to have another free game engine out there for more people to make more games.
