Hey Product Hunters! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป We are Yura and Olena, and we made this new thing called Alphie. ๐Ÿค” Problem. Ever feel a little awkward sending someone a Calendly link? Sure, it's a huge time-saver for the sender, but the other person still has to open their calendar, compare availability, and go through the motions. It gets even trickier when multiple people are involved or you're in different time zones -- like Olena and me. ๐Ÿฆพ Solution. Olena and I thought there must be a better way: scheduling has to be seamless, like adding a picture to a message. And AI must be the way! So we built Alphie -- a "pocket executive assistant." It lives in Gmail, learns your preferences and routines, tracks availability links (Calendly, Google Appointments, Cal.com), and understands conversation context to find the perfect time for everyone involved. It also drafts your responses and shares your availability with guests in a much friendlier and more personalized way. As a result, you can now schedule any meeting in a single click and directly from Gmail -- without even opening your calendar. The individual tier is free (we plan to make money on B2B), and the setup takes -- you guessed it -- one click. Weโ€™d love to hear what you think! Thanks! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

I can relate to this problem and love this idea of reducing the back-and-forth. But I'm curious that given there are so many nuances - different time zones, multiple people involved ... Is it able to deliver in those nuanced, complex situations as well?

@aj_123ย
Thank you, Ajitesh.
You're right: devil is in the detail. That is where AI is crucial -- to automate this last mile. It reads the context and understands what is going on.
It's not roaming free thoigh: under the hood we have a matrix of potential cases -- and the LLM has to choose from it. More details here: https://meetalphie.com/blog/ai-agents-replace-calendar-apps

Nice! Do you think it is more convenient than for instance, Appointment Slots or Calendy, where you can pick any free time? In what way?

Yura Riphyak

@nikitaeverywhereย Thanks for your question, Nikita.
Availability links like Calendly or Google Appointment solve scheduling only for the sender. The receiving side still has to open their calendar, compare availability, etc. It's even harder when you are, say, in different timezones.

Alphie works with both sides' availability as well as preferences (e.g. do you prefer meetings int he morning or afternoon), finding the time that works for both sides and also handles all the communication - drafting your response, etc.

Congrats on the launch! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

If Alphie finds the best time slots in both calendars, does it mean that both parties need to open access to their calendars? It looks like this could be a really cool feature for companies, where staff use the same soft. But what will be the flow if I'm sending an email to the person who doesn't use Alphie?

Yura Riphyak

@svetlana_shevchukย Thanks!
Not necessarily: Alphie reads availability from the email text and availability links.
If you want to share availability with someone not yet on Alphie -- Alphie creates an email with several individually chosen availability slots, like the one an Executive Assistant would prepare.
