The Amazon Alexa integration lets you export voice-enabled prototypes to Alexa so you can open and interact with them via Alexa-enabled devices, like an Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Sonos One, etc.
Hey Product Hunt!
We’re so excited to introduce the new Amazon Alexa integration to help you create incredible voice experiences with XD! As voice becomes more and more important in experience design, designers need better ways to incorporate voice into their creative processes. We created this integration to help designers drive this shift in digital interaction and get a more realistic feel for how their voice-enabled experiences will perform well ahead of writing any code.
The integration with Alexa is made up of two parts: the Alexa Preview XD plugin, which lets you export your prototypes to the Alexa service, and the Adobe XD Alexa Skill, which allows you to access and interact with your prototypes via an Alexa-enabled device like an Amazon Echo. The Alexa integration was built by the Adobe XD product and engineering team in close collaboration with the Alexa team at Amazon to ensure the two technologies work together seamlessly.
We can’t wait to see all the experiences you create with this new functionality! Feel free to let us know how we’re doing and how you’re using XD’s voice prototyping capabilities in the comments below.
If you have any other ideas for voice-related features, feel free to share with us on our UserVoice. Our team is always listening! https://adobexd.uservoice.com/
