Hi Guys, I am Bernardo, the CEO and maker of 8000Kicks! We first started 8000Kicks with one vision in mind, to build the coolest hemp products, with eco-friendly vegan materials, super resistant, water repellent and still accessible to everyone. We started with shoes, now we are doing masks, the sky is the limit. So why Cannabis hemp fibers? 8000Kicks is not for smoking,and if you do it, you will not get high. Hemp is actually the “sober cousin” of marijuana. It has a minimal amount of psychoactive components, and for that reason it is legal everywhere in the world and the team has already traveled across Europe, China and the US with it. Hemp actually has a very long history of being used as a fiber, in fact, it has been cultivated by George Washington himself to produce rope, sails and others. Cannabis is so strong Henry Ford once built a car with it. Why hemp masks? The idea started in March 2020 when we decided to apply the same breathable and anti bacterial materials we use on our shoes to the mass production of masks for the community. So far we have donated over 10,000 masks to firefighters, police officers, health workers and other people in need. Hemp is not only a sustainable fiber, it is also a great material to make masks.Demand grew so much we decided to open our masks for selling in the market. So today, the 26th of January, we are officially launching our masks in the market. You might be asking why 8000 in 8000Kicks? That's because hemp appeared 8000 years ago in Asia and we plan to bring it back. Help us MAKE HEMP GREAT AGAIN!

Are you planning on making kids sized masks? My younger ones can't keep a mask dry for more than 15 minutes 😅😳

hey hey. Actually we do have smaller sizes. My cousins are 7 and 10 and they it use it all the time. But yeah, they also don't respect the mask rules very well.

hey hey. How are you doing? Honestly, we didn't put so much marketing into this since this was a by product from our hemp shoe production. It all started out with us donating thousands of hemp masks, then we went on TV and everyone wanted one. So we scaled things up and decided to sell them as well on our website. More than masks, people like what we are doing with hemp and they come to our website to buy not only masks but shoes as well.
Wow. I've been really disheartened and disgusted with the amount of mask trash our world has created in the past year. Neverending kudos to you for doing something about it! Respect. Also, I'm so sorry that you actually have to explain to some people that these things do not get you high. Jeeesh 🙄

couldn't agree more. Hemp is the future not only for it's ecological properties but also for its superior durability and performance. Once we have everyone using hemp then our job is done and we can go chill on the beach ahahah.
Interesting concept, I was not aware hemp had such interesting properties. Where is it made?

Hemp comes from China, but the manufacturing process is in Portugal.

How does it last for? I work outside and I need to wash my mask daily. Other reusable masks go bad after a few washes.

hey hey. We have tested our masks with 25 washes and it was still good. So this one is definitely a keeper.
How cool would it be to wear a mask and get high! You would be happy all day wearing the mask! Give that mask to police officers :D :D :D

Actually if you scroll down to August on our Instagram you can see that we donated a lot of masks to the local police. Now the officers like us and we like them ahaha.
