Happy Monday. Another week to crush your goals. In today’s digest, I’m covering a new science-forward health app for fitness, nutrition, and sleep. But first…

The headlines:

🤖 Humanoid robots are learning a new skill. Spoiler: it’s failing.

🖊️ OpenAI has signed a strategic agreement with the Financial Times for content.

😌 Some founders are saying a TikTok ban won’t be too bad

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT
This app uses science to be an all-in-one health and fitness companion

One of my main resolutions this year was to take better care of my health. I’m not getting any younger, and tech is a pretty sedentary industry to work in. If you’re like me, one of the biggest challenges is choosing the right health tracker in a sea of apps and gizmos, each with a different methodology.

Bright launched in early access today with a commitment “to be the last health app you ever need,” according to founder and CEO Bryan Jordan. That’s a pretty big goal — so how does the team want to back it up?

Bright offers a personalized diet plan tailored to your health goals, selecting from over a million recipes to keep your meals interesting and aligned with your nutritional needs. This plan adapts to your changing goals and preferences over time to keep you engaged.

The app also monitors your physical recovery, tracking muscle strain and stress levels to optimize your workout. It helps you identify when you are ready to push harder or need more rest, balancing exertion and recovery to maximize results without injury

Additionally, Bright's meal logging feature provides a nutritional breakdown of each meal to help you understand not just calorie intake but the balance of proteins, fats, etc, so you can fine-tune your diet.

Sleep is crucial to your health, don’t believe me? Read this report from Harvard Medical School. When you’re ready to tuck in, Bright will track and analyze your sleep to give you insights on how to improve.

Of course, health is a serious science, and the team is taking it seriously, keeping it somewhat behind closed doors until they are confident of their methodology. You can opt into the private beta at a reduced price if you want to try it out.

SHOUTOUTS

We’re not surprised that Framer has made its way into the top twenty most shouted-out products on Product Hunt. The intuitive, visual website builder has impressed makers so much, with even some, like the team behind Velt, declaring, “We can't imagine building landing pages any other way.”

Framer handles everything about your site, from responsiveness and animations to technical things like CMS. It powers products like a portfolio design service, an authentication tool, and even an animation platform

With everything going on in our lives, finding that special someone often takes a back seat. It’s made even harder when you finally do jump on a dating site only to discover that truly connecting with someone can be tough.
