New tools for devs
This newsletter was brought to you byWispr FlowHappy first of the month! It won’t be long until the frost melts and flowers bloom. What’s on your agenda this month?
Some news:
🍎 The Apple Vision Pro is hiding a secret lightning cable.
💼 Meta, TikTok, and other Tech CEOs appeared before the US Senate.
Spruce up your developer tool chest with these new products
Wake up! It’s the first of the month. January is finally over and it's almost time for some spring cleaning. Maybe it’s time to dust off that old tech stack and see what’s on offer in 2024.
From AI-powered code assistants to fun ways to track your coding progress, here are five new tools for you to try as a developer in 2024:
Pixeebot is like an automated product security engineer. It uses AI to review your code and makes suggestions on how to improve code security, performance, and quality.
Commit Everyday is like if Tinder and Spotify Wrapped had a developer tool baby. It collects your Github stats monthly and lets you swipe through them in a Tinder-like interface.
Cyclops is an open-source tool that aims to make the software deployment process easier and faster by translating config files into a UI. It’s primarily focused on helping the Kubernetes community of developers.
Corbado is a passwordless authentication system built for developers. It adds authentication to your product by using passkeys instead of passwords and it can be integrated with just a few lines of code.
pre.dev uses AI to help developers and teams go from idea to shipped product faster. An AI assistant provides developers with a full software architecture, recommended tech stacks, and even automates the creation of Jira tasks.
So there you have it, five developer tools to add to your developer tool chest in 2024, and since there have been over 100 developer tools launched on Product Hunt already this year, there’s plenty more where that came from.
Are you really still typing?

Full disclosure: Wispr Flow is the AI dictation tool most of us at Product Hunt (use we still have a few holdout typers, what romantics). Hold a key, talk, and clean text drops straight into whatever app you're already in — Slack, email, Notion, your IDE, wherever your cursor lives. No switching windows. No copy-paste ritual. Just say the thing – yes, you can whisper it – and even your most run-on sentences will be turned into polished writing at 4x the speed of typing.
