In the age of on-demand information consumption, it can be way too easy to become distracted. Sometimes you get into a flow in work, and time zips by. Other times, you open TikTok for what feels like a minute but ends up being an hour.
This can become a real problem when it comes to work. Being late for one meeting might be fine, but make a habit of it, and you could find yourself in hot water. Thankfully, makers are on the case.
Jeremy Nagel, a maker with ADHD, realized that calendar apps weren’t suited to his needs after he ended up getting fired for missing too many meetings. Determined not to let that happen again, he decided to fix it. The solution was Late No More, a web app that gives notifications that increase in intensity levels as the meeting approaches.
The longer you ignore them, the worse they get. Starting off with a simple reminder 15 minutes beforehand. After that, it gets a bit more obnoxious, playing annoying sound effects and becoming increasingly harder to dismiss, all in an effort to get you to join the meeting on time.
Late No More is currently Mac only, but Jeremy is actively looking for feedback on what platforms to launch on and what new features users would like to see.
