How does Dirac understand your Tone and apply it?
... know,
Dirac
is an email agent that hands you only decisions, not busywork. And one of the most important parts of that is "It can't be just AI SLOP" . The drafted replies, the compositions, need to sound exactly like you. And not just generally "you". Different situations, different people, different contexts. The tone you use for a "Hey bro can you fix this bug?" email from your developer would be completely different than how you would talk to Sarah ... ... about "booking a dentist appointment" or Mark about "are you interested in our product". So how does

Gmail and Superhuman are just a faster Horse Carriage
... lighter? But they were on the completely wrong thing. Henry Ford built a motorzed vehicle and took over everything. It wasn't just a faster transportation; it was a completely different parallel. We aim to recreate this difference with
Dirac
vs
. other Email Inboxes. Instead of making you, the founder, just a faster assistant for yourself.

What area would you NEVER trust to Ai, in your inbox?
... some kinda humanity in pressing "send" yourself!? What about you? Where would you draw the line? Or just raw-dog it and trust the ai? Comment from Peter Shu(@peterz_shu): @brielle_marie And that's the
Dirac
morning brief for ya! Comment from Peter Shu(@peterz_shu): @shawn_idrees Hey Shawn, completely on-board with this. Would you still be comfortable with sharing your inbox with Ai or not? Comment from Peter Shu(@peterz_shu): @nipuntaneja ... ... that it follows your tone,, you still wouldn't trust ai with tone? Intersting, thanks for sharing! Comment from Peter Shu(@peterz_shu): @nischay_kashyap You can manage areas of your inbox and choose what to shut/privatize in

What is your biggest barrier from switching to gmail alternatives?
... tied into Google Drive, Docs, Calendar, and countless integrations that my workflow depends on. Even if another service offers better privacy or features, the switching cost feels huge because I d lose that seamless connection. I think
alternatives
need to focus not only on email quality but also on building or integrating into a broader productivity ecosystem to make the transition realistic. Comment from Peter Shu(@peterz_shu): @lakeesha_weatherwax Would it be better to just have a chrome ... ... extension which is just a layer above gmail? Realistically, do you think someone would use that over the current

Why are people still using Gmail despite better alternatives?
... Peter Shu(@peterz_shu): @craig_bennett1 Yeah, until they look at how much time they're wasting. But most don't ever... Comment from Peter Shu(@peterz_shu): Let's do the maths - assuming 40-hour work weeks.
Dirac
cost: $20/month. There are 4 weeks in a month, which is 4 x 40 = 160hours of work per month. this number will be used later, remember it According to studies like https://www.readless.app/blog/av... , about a quarter of that time ... ... used directly in the email inbox. 160 / 4 = 40. That is ~40 hours per month in Email!! Now, assuming
