Dirac launched yesterday - Thanks for everyone's support!!

As you may know, we just launched Dirac yesterday!

This is one small step towards building a better email for all of us who are stuck being our own email assistants.

The launch was incredibly fun for me as the Maker of Dirac. Many of you guys signed up for Dirac and our 100 founder members are starting to fill up spots.

Happy with a top 10 of Dirac's MVP, on a VERY busy @Vercel Day. It only goes up from here!

Also, I've been getting So, So much good feedback and ideas brought up.

Here are a few main ones:

I would never let Ai touch anything that other people can see. I want to be the one to press send.

My tone changes a lot based on Topic and Reciepient. I want ai to pick it up when drafting for me.

The biggest barrier for me of switching over from Gmail to another email is that even though it may be smarter or "better", my muscle merory for gmail is built in. And the emotional cost is too high to justify the risk.

Next steps for Dirac:

Dirac is planning to launch again in 3-4 weeks.

This time not as an inbox, but as something different: a chrome extension.

It will include core features such as morning brief and active tone-detection.

Chrome extension sits onto any existing email (such as Gmail).

This:

• Effectively removes emotional cost of switching

• Much more efficiency. Chrome has many hidden features that make Gmail a much more optimized and faster to run than other email apps

• More trust. This time, you're not in a new, untouched territory. You're sitting in the same place you always were, but just with a helpful chrome extension open.
