What are some team bonding activities you've found successful during the pandemic with members working remotely?

Having virtual coffee breaks ☺️

We have a "Lunch and Learn" every 2-3 weeks where we put together a few groups (mostly from the same department) and every group prepares a presentation for everyone else. Most of the time they are educational, but sometimes they can be on random topics.

@luka_vasic how interesting, we do have a couple of shy or introspective team members, i'd be interested to see if they'd be down for something like this, thanks!

If your team is really close, try playing some video games together! No shame in enjoying yourselves.

@ezzat I'd love this so much, i'm actually the only gamer in the team hahaha, i'm pretty sure they think i'm lame because of that, wierd right? XD We do play music together, but not everyone knows how to play and it's something we can't do remotely.

We do virtual teatime gatherings where everyone can talk, play games, and vent. Also, it's good to spend some time to chat with your teammates every day (about things unrelated to work, obviously).

Somehow we managed to get through the pandemic working from the office! None of us got infected inside the office. So... all the teambuilding activities were face-to-face! Btw, we’re launching in the mid of June. Check out our upcoming PH page: www.producthunt.com/upcoming/eff... Our project is called: Effecto. It’s an app for detailed habits, health, symptoms, and meds tracking. Pretty much for everything that is related to your physical or mental health and every daily factor that can affect you.
