My mom doesn't use a computer anymore (ever since we bought her an iPhone). She has a hard time doing things that require a big screen. Can't go wrong with an iPad for a tech gift idea!

Not a product itself but a curated collection with hundreds of items. I've found many cool things for presents there.

Fitbit Charge HR

Continuous heart rate monitoring on your wrist

It seems that a lot of people in my parents' generation enjoy Fitbit products for exercise tracking. I've found the Charge HR in particular to be a good gift because it doesn't require the user to be exceptionally tech savvy and yet it has adequate functionality for people who just want a fitness-oriented device and don't care about other smart wearable features.
