My mom doesn't use a computer anymore (ever since we bought her an iPhone). She has a hard time doing things that require a big screen. Can't go wrong with an iPad for a tech gift idea!

Not a product itself but a curated collection with hundreds of items. I've found many cool things for presents there.

Very unique card, may be to late for mothers day though.
  5. I sent my gf a tiny package for her birthday one year when I wanted to switch it up. It ended up winning her over more than I expected it to because it was different from the norm.

    Fitbit Charge HR

It seems that a lot of people in my parents' generation enjoy Fitbit products for exercise tracking. I've found the Charge HR in particular to be a good gift because it doesn't require the user to be exceptionally tech savvy and yet it has adequate functionality for people who just want a fitness-oriented device and don't care about other smart wearable features.
