The code was already there, and three things I'd otherwise have needed separate services for came with it: Actions to build four attested assets per tag, private vulnerability reporting for bypass reports, and advisories with CVE requests. Five advisories so far, one from an outside researcher.

I didn't choose it; the people using Termaxa did, so it had to work there. Cursor taught us the most: when 3.11 renamed its hook events, four releases went ungated before we noticed, which is why the gate fails open on purpose and termaxa doctor probes whether the hook really fires.

It was already the agent I worked with every day, and its PreToolUse hooks can deny a command with a reason the agent reads. That made a gate inside the agent possible rather than one beside it. The real session in our README is Claude Code with its own approvals switched off, and the agent chose not to route around the refusal.
