It's a fantastic product with only two flaws. 1. They are insistent on not allowing users to have a unified inbox. I don't get it, but that's the decision they're making. 2. The way they rolled out the new pricing was bad. Instead of adding a tier with new or improved features, they took away features users already had and locked these old features behind a more expensive tier. If you liked the product you were paying for, you had to join the new tier to keep using it. Otherwise, you were severely downgraded. Even features that had been around for ages like "recent opens" that didn't require AI usage. Just a wild anti-customer thing to do.

Superhuman is an excellent example of UX/UI geared to human use and efficiency. It's incredible how they've continued to develop improvements, and been able to maintain the mantra of making email EASY. The Splits are one of my favorite features, and the way they continue to integrate AI is sensible, effective, and NOT just to be able to say they've "got AI". Summaries, writing assistance, and able to do it in YOUR voice, is pretty remarkable. It's not perfect, but it's really close. Editing my email after asking for my voice takes moments instead of large re-writes. Keyboard shortcuts galore - thank goodness I don't have to go looking for my mouse to interact. Ctrl-K is something I want EVERY solution to implement. I continue to pay for this, and don't see that ending.

I have used Superhuman as an example in so many UX / UI discussions and I loved using it myself as well. And I have been following @rahulvohra for ages, ever since I found that piece you wrote on modelling viral growth. Superhuman is simply one of those products that has done most things right. Launch, onboarding, feature priority and you know that feature you got used to not using “Give us your feedback”? The team is there, answering, taking your feedback. It’s simply awesome. Still waiting for that iCloud support tho…. :)

Use it daily. Haven't finished a single day with an email lingering in my inbox since Superhuman. Key features: 1. Snippets: I use this to brilliantly add reusable bits of information in emails. eg: zoom, calendar link, etc. 2. Ai: I have Superhuman initially compose an email for me. I can even have it 'rewrite in my voice' so I don't sound like a robot. 3. Remind me if no reply: There's always those emails that someone else needs to follow up with, but I will need to follow up with if they drop the ball. 'remind me if no reply' fixes that. Plenty of other features, but the slick UI, the use of shortcuts, and the fact that it just works, stands out.

I was an early adopter of Superhuman and a huge fan, primarily of full keyboard navigation. However in the last few months it feels like its turning more and more into a Sales CRM type of email client as opposed to the original "just get through your damn inbox as fast as possible". They also pushing hard the team and business side so it just keeps getting more expensive. Needless to say now that most original features are available in gmail, can't justify the price anymore.

Superhuman AI is one of the few instances where generative AI is integrated into a productivity tool in such a way that it maintains real utility and doesn't feel out of place compared to the rest of the app. As someone who is constantly drafting emails to external contacts to my org, it has been a game changer in my speed to reply back and draft emails that contain complex thoughts that need to get simplified quickly. Kudos to the team for this awesome launch 🙌

I've been using Superhuman for about six months now, and it's the best email platform I've ever used - the customer service team is the most impressive part: I often get a response the same day if I have questions or even product feedback. The AI writing tool is fantastic, and I've been waiting patiently for it. I'm hoping that it learns from my feedback and gets better at writing in my voice.

I have used various mailing apps until now, but they were apps that made emails easier to read. However, Superhuman is different. Superhuman increases the processing speed of emails and greatly contributes to productivity. You may hesitate at first, but it is undoubtedly the best mailing app.

It takes a bit to get familiar with all the keyboard shortcuts, but the organization, open tracking, HubSpot integrations, and Ask AI are all fantastic features that I'm constantly using. Building out as many snippets as possible as soon as possible will save you so much time!
