đHello everyone đ,
I was actually too shy to present this product always been thinking its not ready yet but since we're using it internally a lot for our products and it worked out really well I thought it'd be a pitty to not bring it to the world.
I am well aware there're so many product feedback tools on the market so sorry about posting yet another one however I strongly believe it differs alot from existing product to be worth exploring (more below).
It is currently in Beta and completely free while that. We didn't figure any pricing yet but it'll be definitely cheaper than Canny and consorts and we'll offer a free plan for open source projects.
Serwell uses the famous primer ui kit from Github to make the design a bit more practical for you as admin but also make it "timeless" for the customers.
Here're the highlights I've been missing from other products that Serwell tries to ehance on:
âď¸ SEO-First
As your users are generating a lot of content it should be the focus of such a tool to provide the best SEO-Experience out of the box. Combined with an indexing tool to push new sites to google search we've been able to quickly generate over 2000 pages for our products that people will now find if they search for similar issues our customers have.
Serwell also provide automated open graph image for every page that look pretty nice, has pages optimized for quick loading and accessibility and of course a proper responsive view.
âď¸ Proper Multi-Language
Out of the box Serwell supports English and German but more can easily follow upon request. Most tools I've seen ie have no real good support for German ("Halbherzig" ;-)) and as a native German it was important for me to provide best language support possible as your customers will see that as a quality indicator of the overall product.
âď¸ Improved Feedback Tickets
Most upvote / feedback tools are not really good at managing customer feature requests or bug reports. I've tried to orientate a bit on Github Issues which I think are really great but just removed the burden of technical complexity so its usable by everyone. Automatic mails are sent to your customers for any comments and status changes as well as you can easily on board your team with internal notes.
âď¸ Global Feed
There's a global feed which tracks every action taken by either you or the customers. Its a great way for your customers to see how interactive and great your community actually is!
âď¸ Documentation
I've added a nice documentation editor that even supports inline diagrams and more. The idea was to have all your knowledge at one place without requiring extra tools. I've also added a simple AI widget that learns from your documentation as well as from all the community posts and feedback tickets to answer your customer requests more quickly.
âď¸ Custom domain and SSO
You can easily setup your own custom domain for your community so seo goes all to you. Furthermore its easy to integrate and third party provider (Your own, OAuth2, OpenId, Microsoft, whatever) for your workspace ie let your customers only login via your identity provider to easily give them a second home instead of requiring yet another login for them.
âď¸ Support Tickets
Currently in the works -- Quick and easy support system via Webform (embedded on your Website) and automatically extracted E-Mails. No chats. I think for most businesses it is easier and better to have classical support tickets as you do then not to have to answer instantly.
The support system allows to quickly formulate answers via AI learned by your documentation and by any previous support conversations (of course without any sensitive information).
Furthermore it supports organizations that can by easily synched from your site to the API and allows to collect multiple users underneath the same organization so they can see each others tickets and their status.
âď¸ Community
Sometimes classic approaches are still the best. Serwell supports a community forum where your users can post and ask questions. It also features a "choose answer" and upvote system like ie stack overflow has.
As a sample, I want to show you our community we're using it for (Its German only sorry about that) which nicely shows a working and healthy community around a product:

Now that I wrote all of this and made it public I am really looking forward to some feedback be good or bad so keep it coming :-)
