RIP MY BUILD is a side project cemetery for honest public postmortems. Publish a permanent obituary with the original link, cause of death, lesson learned, and whatever you’re building next. Every memorial gets a shareable page, visitor roses, permanent plot adornments, and a weekly honors leaderboard. It turns the useful truth at the end of a project into closure, a launch asset, and a path to the founder’s next chapter. $12 per obituary; no account needed to browse.

PolarOpen source monetization platform for developers
5.0 (43 reviews)
Also considered:
Polar let me treat payments as a feature instead of a second business. As Merchant of Record, it handles checkout and international sales-tax compliance, which meant far less operational overhead for a solo builder. Stripe offers more flexibility, but Polar got me selling globally much faster.

OpenAIAPIs and tools for building AI products
5.0 (828 reviews)
Also considered:
OpenAI fit the way I wanted to build: collaboratively and directly inside the codebase. Codex could understand the project, make changes across files, run checks, and iterate with me and not just generate isolated snippets. Claude and Gemini are both excellent, but OpenAI’s agentic development workflow felt most natural for this project.

VercelThe frontend cloud. Creators of Next.js.
5.0 (1K reviews)
Vercel was the path of least resistance for a Next.js project. I could go from idea to production quickly, with preview deployments, custom domains, analytics, and performance monitoring already integrated.
As a solo builder, I wanted to spend my limited time on the product and not deployment infrastructure.
