Are you raising bilingual kids? Do you want your children to grow up hearing the languages you speak at home — not just the language of the country they live in? Do grandparents, yiayia, nonna, or loved ones live far away but still want to be part of bedtime stories? Our Stories helps families create personalized multilingual stories, listen to narration, and turn favorite adventures into illustrated keepsake books — without endless screen time.

@curiouskitty Great question!
A lot of multilingual families actually don’t read the exact same story across languages every night — many follow approaches like OPOL (one parent, one language). In our case, I read in Greek and my husband reads in Italian, so our baby naturally hears both languages in different contexts.
That said, there are stories families love and want to revisit across languages, so we built the ability to read the same story in another language while trying to preserve the same characters, tone, and emotional flow. We also have “continue story” and “same hero” features so children can build familiarity with recurring characters and worlds over time.
The hardest part quality-wise has honestly been narration and emotional nuance rather than direct translation itself. Greek, for example, can sometimes sound slightly too formal or have odd intonations in narration, while some languages are much better supported out of the box.
We are learning a lot from multilingual families testing the app and iterating language-by-language based on what actually feels natural to parents reading aloud.
I'm getting a 'TTS failed [401]' error when trying to add language content to the stories ('quota_exceeded').
Regardless, I just wanted to say that this website is such a fantastic idea! Really love the creativity here.

@summerxia Thanks so much for flagging this, you were absolutely right 😊
It turned out to be an issue with the narration provider (11labs) quota (used for generating the story audio), which temporarily caused new narration requests to fail. I’ve already resolved it and narration should now be working normally again without any action needed on your side.
I’m also improving the error handling so users see a friendlier message in the future instead of the raw technical error. Really appreciate you taking the time to report it 💛 Early feedback like this genuinely helps make the experience better

This is so cool. Also raising an Italian and American girl here, and the bilingual struggle is real. She hears both languages every day, but the mixing and speech delays had us worried but we know every kid is unique. Having bedtime stories in both languages with the same characters and world is exactly what we do today but manually translating the books!!! Love that you can send a story link to nonna in Italy too.
Ccan both parents use separate languages in the same account?
Congrats on the launch! 🚀

This is so cute ♥️ it will be so easy to be part of my niece's every days, especially when time difference makes it impossible to make video calls. I have recorded some voiceovers of fairy tales and songs, but it's not engaging for her to only listen

@nino_ungiadze thank you for stopping by and taking a look! really appreciate your feedback! if you end up using it please let me know how it feels, and i am open to feedback/ new feature requests.
Congrats on the official launch! I tried the app today and was so surprised to find some classic Chinese nursery rhymes inside.
As we discussed before, I really love your product philosophy. Keeping parents at the center instead of letting AI play endless loops is pure gold.
It makes the app a supportive tool for real human connection. Wish you the best of luck today!
