Hi 👋 My names Harry and I'm the creator of Kampsite! I've worked in many companies in the past where crucial product decisions were made by 'consulting the oracle' (aka sticking your finger in the air and having a wild guess). Kampsite aims to solve this problem for early-stage companies by getting your users engaged in the decisions that shape your product. Giving users a platform where they can voice these suggestions gives companies insights they can use to guide their product roadmap. Other users can come along and vote on these suggestions to help you prioritize features that will actually help your company grow and make your users happy. There are definitely some competitors in this space doing some awesome things(shoutout to Canny!), but I hope Kampsite can do things a little differently and help customers make their products as good as they can be. This is definitely not even close to what I want the final version of Kampsite to have feature wise - but without getting feedback myself, I can't be sure I'm heading in the right direction - hence todays launch 🎉. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have! FYI - anyone who signs up today will get an unlimited number of features starter account (i.e. no 100 limit).

@harryblucas Congrats on the launch Harry. Looks pretty good with nice useful feature set. Are you planning to expand the authentication from Google to local ? Also the roadmap feature looks pretty interesting. You can think about giving a scaled down version of that in the free plan for all to use and understand, thereby your conversion could increase even more. The traction is pretty good for sure. :)

@chris_honore Thats's a great quote Chris 🔥completely understand what you're trying to say. Kampsite's goal is to help you understand the real motivator behind your customers suggestions - so if someone say's "They want a faster horse" what they are really saying is that they want a faster means of transportation. The goal with Kampsite is to take the solutions and feedback from customers (e.g. faster horse) and help you understand the real problem they need solving (e.g. a faster means of transportation).

@chris_honore @harryblucas Great response. I work in an enterprise environment by day and I hear "I want a faster horse" dozens of times a week. The real skill of a great product person is to hear that initial request and then tease out / understand what the stakeholder / user is actually wanting.

Love the simple design. Already started using it, and will definitely pay for the premium version in the near future. Please add the ability to hide the "Will Pay" Label. It would be great to create/delete labels. Great work again, Harry!

@pratik_shetty Hey Pratik! Thanks for the feedback and kind words! Currently, the 'would pay' label comes from users ticking the 'Would you pay for this feature' checkbox on the new suggestions page. I do however, understand that for some products, this doesn't make sense (e.g. free services for example). I'll make this customizeable as apart of this feature suggestion https://feedback.kampsite.co/sug... - but also made a note to do that part first as a quick win and send you an email when it's ✅
