As someone who hasn't used a digital tool to track money due to the lack of customization and personalization, I've loved Fina as a personal assistant almost. The fact that you can ask simple questions and get an answer without having to comb through bunch of data is a huge time saver and anxiety reducer. Would like to have a feature to access to a joint/shared finances like when certain transactions are shared or do you want to share a particular data. Ex: Wife asks you how much you spent on groceries this month but you don't want her to see about the bar tabs with the homies. Looking forward to what's possible! Cheers!!

Hey Nadeera, thanks for your review! You can actually do that today, this is how you make it happen: 1) create a new doc (+ on the pages tree), and name it "Report to Wife" 2) type "/" to get the blocks you need, such as "Expense by category" or "What merchants I do business with" 3) Hover over the "Share" button on the top-right corner, and add your wife's email to share with her. For example, this is a piece of information I shared with people I want https://fina.xyz/doc/vIbMHMH4EquLgr, note it's a secret link, but anyone with the link can access it. But you can always use a restricted scope by sharing the doc with an email list only you intended to. Let me know if it's relevant.

Really impressed with how simple the UI was. The layout is intuitive unlike many of the other apps I've tried. I just figured out I’ve spend $389 eating out the last month... I might need to cut back. I knew it was higher than normal, but it's nice to see the actual damage. I'm curious - when I'm creating rules for my transactions, can I do a rule based on an amount? Like if it's over $xxx categorize it as "xyz". Love what you guys are building and excited to see the roadmap

Thank you Johnny for the comment. Glad it's helpful. Yes, our rules engine is pretty generic, pretty much any queryable condition can be set as a rule. If simple quick rule setup isn't enough, you can hover over "Filter" and put your amount condition there, then use "+ Create Rule" to capture that. Happy "ruling"! :)

Overall great product. Some bug issues that are to be expected prior to launch, but I’m looking forward to using the system for a long time. Customizable dashboard and the ability to categorize transactions based on merchant name is very helpful. As I use my credit card like a debit card, and pay it off each month, it’s nice to not have duplicative records of spending like you have in other apps.
