Calendar-centric selling is any business model where the primary transaction happens around a date and time. A yoga class on Saturday morning. A wine tasting on Friday night. A cookie decorating workshop next month. A fundraiser gala in November. A conference in October. A weekly trivia night.
If your business makes money by gathering people in a time and place (charging them or not) you're a calendar-centric seller. And there are a lot more of you than there used to be.
Squarespace events has been a major pain point for years. Eventually Ticketing fixes that.
@christy_price Thank you so much, Christy! Loved demo'ing this for you on our couch, thank you for having me for the live chat today!
@kelseygk my pleasure! Can't wait to have you back for a walkthrough!

Hey PH fam 👋
Super excited to bring Eventually to the global tech and startup community today!
Here's something most people miss: ecommerce was built for shipping products, not gathering people. If your business runs on classes, workshops, or events, you've been forced to sell tickets through tools designed for t-shirts or ticket marketplaces that charge you a cut of the audience YOU built.
Eventually fixes that. It's an event-based ecommerce platform that works natively with Squarespace, so you can:
→ Sell tickets directly through your own site, on brand
→ Collect the exact info you need to run a great event
→ Keep your audience in your world instead of a third-party marketplace
→ Skip the per-ticket fees entirely
Now the personal part. I've known Zack for years. We even started a SaaS together a while back, and I got to watch him operate as a technical co-founder up close. He's the rare builder who ships fast without cutting corners. Seeing him team up with Kelsey, who has launched over 1000 Squarespace sites through her agency, is a genuinely great pairing: she's lived this problem with real clients for a decade, and he can build anything.
Founder-market fit doesn't get much tighter than a husband and wife team solving a problem they've watched up close for years.
Would love for you to check it out and share your feedback here with the team 👇
@thisiskp_ KP! You are the greatest. Thanks so much for sharing Eventually with the world.
@thisiskp_ So grateful for all your help and support. We are really excited to get this out into the world and hear from the community about what's resonating with them.
Yessss!! Ticketing is one of those things you think is "fine" until you realize it very much is NOT fine, and all the major ticketing platforms are missing crucial features (or charging predatory percentages). I can't wait to see this grow!!
@punchlinecopy Right?! Sorry, Bending Spoons, I'm not going to give you my left kidney for this ticket (and that's the shitty one)!
@punchlinecopy @zackgilbert Yeah I might need that one someday!
@punchlinecopy LOL this is exactly true. "It's fine. It's fine. It's NOT FINE!"

Congrats on the launch! What a great story, can see so many great use-cases for this.
@gpj Thank you, Gareth! It’s sneaky like that! Once you see it…. Appreciate you sharing the congratulations!
Wow. I am just amazed to hear the whole story behind it and truly inspiring how it all shaped up so fast. you found a problem, and fixed it in a truly elegant way.
Onboarding is super simple, to the point, with most important features laid out first, showing which problem and how its solved. A masterclass 💪
@emin_grbo thanks Emin! We’ve been working on the onboarding quite a lot. I’m sure a lot of folks encounter this with ecommerce onboarding, but there’s a lot to do to get to that moment!
I've used far too many hacky workarounds to sell events via Squarespace, so I'm relieved that someone is finally solving this problem, and extra happy that it's @kelseygk because you know it's going to be thoughtfully developed and reliable. Congrats on the launch and I'm excited to see even more people discover Eventually!
@katy_carlisle From one platform builder to another, I know how much this means! Thank you for being one of the very first people I chatted with- it's really fun to build in this space with you all. Grateful for you Katy!
@mayaa17 thank you so much, Maya!
