Review CostPlus Drugs?
Reviewers consistently praise CostPlus Drugs for low prices, and a few say ordering is easy when a doctor sends the prescription correctly and standard delivery goes smoothly. But the dominant view is that savings come with serious tradeoffs: delayed shipping, prescriptions failing to appear in accounts, limited refill flexibility, missing insurance support, and customer service that feels slow, generic, or unreachable. Several users say the service works only on the “happy path”; once anything goes wrong, getting medication on time becomes stressful or unreliable.

Trying desperately to continue to use CostPlus Drugs (I have a couple of prescriptions filled through them already) but one of my physicians is having a terrible time getting the CostPlus system to accept all the scripts they’re sending. According to website, all 4 drugs are readily available, yet they continue to only pick up one of the scripts that my Dr office is sending. All are being sent in the exact same manner and have been sent FOUR times, with only 1 showing as available to me. It took 3 emails from me to get them to give me a phone number the office could call.
Great prices, but very weak system efficiency and customer service.
Hopefully they will begin to read their reviews and make improvements.

I had my doctor order one Rx of 180 tablets. The order was processed quickly and the package arrived today (just a few days after I received an email saying the RX had been shipped. So, no issues about that. But the pill count was 158, and NOT the 180 that had been ordered and paid for. That doesn't make feel comfortable about the reliability of CostPlus and how they count pills when dispensing!
Of course, CostPlus has very little in the way of reasonable customer service, so I'm unsure about whether I'll never see the 22 tablets they short-counted me. I wonder how I can contact Mark Cuban and tell him of my experience?

As with most low-cost options, everything is great as long as you follow the happy path, but as soon as you need anything different, all bets are off. In my case, I realized that due to a weird refill schedule at my previous pharmacy, I was going to run out of one of my four medications towards the end of a three-month overseas trip. On my doctor's advice, I emailed CostPlus on Tuesday to see if I could get an early refill, and only just now (Friday) got a response directing me to call Customer Service and press the number for prescribers. Finally talked to a representative, then a pharmacist, who said he would see what he could do, but I'm concerned the refill won't reach me before I leave in a week. Three stars because they're good as long as you don't need anything special, and because I did actually finally manage to talk to a human who could help. Just make sure you deal with them well in advance and have a backup plan in case they're too slow.
My physician placed 2 prescriptions with Cost Plus Drugs in July. I received an email from Cost Plus Drugs that the prescriptions had been received. However, when I went to order them, they weren't showing on my prescription manager dashboard. The "contact us" link only provides a form to fill out and submit, not a phone number. I submitted the form and after a week of nothing but automated "we have received your email" and no response, I tried again. Still nothing and my prescriptions weren't showing on the dashboard. I finally dug into the area of their website for providers and found a phone number. From there I was able to actually talk to a person who couldn't find the prescriptions in the system anywhere and asked that I have my doctor call those in again. My physician happily did so, and I again, received emails from Cost Plus Drugs that both were received. Again, those are not available in the prescription manager and Cost Plus Drugs can't find the prescriptions. While I was super happy to get a much better price on these prescriptions, the fact that my doctor has had to contact them twice to submit the prescriptions, they still can't find them in their system, yet their system is sending me emails that they have those prescriptions is pissing me all the way off. It has now been since July 21 that I have been trying to get these processed so I can receive them. It's a good thing they aren't urgent or I would be screwed.

Very slow. Received an email saying there was an "issue" with my order. No details about the issue such as out of stock, payment problem, new delivery time frame. Nothing. Emails elicit no responses because, according to their contact info section, responding to emails would drive up costs. Why have an email then? The prices seem low so if you would like low prices and are willing to accept bad service in exchange for low prices this is the place.

Great prices if you can actually receive the drugs. Shipping department is terrible. They will NOT put the correct address on the label, so it is returned. This has happened twice and now they refuse to reship or refund. I actually need these this medication on a daily basis and have now been without for over three weeks. The doctor ordered from my local GoodRX pharmacy that I used before.

I was annoyed at my local pharmacy trying to overcharge (by 10X!) for my 2 prescriptions. So I asked my dr to transfer these to costplus, and ordered refills for both, with standard shipping. Both arrived 6 days later (actually 1 day sooner than estimated!). Price was on par with the lowest I could find with Goodrx. I'm sold.
Very poor service. Ordered expedited (2-3 day delivery). 5 days later my drugs were finally shipped. No way to speak to anyone and had to get an emergency prescription from my doctor as I ran out. Automated email replies are unhelpful. Terrible customer service.

Absolute nightmare thus far. My doctor is sabotaging my Rx's by splitting my dose in half and making me order DOUBLE the quantity. Cost Plus are absolutely no help at all. So now I am paying MORE because I am being forced to order MORE PILLS because they REFUSE to do a basic conversion. AND they are only offering MONTHLY shipments even though I have ALWAYS gotten 90 days worth from every pharmacy I've ever used my entire life. My blood is boiling right now, I thought this company was supposed to help me save money but it looks like this is just another scam to fleece us poor people.

Unfortunately this doesn't work on the newer drugs out or the expensive ones either just regular ones that most people & myself can already afford but I looked up Rinvoq that my Dr wants me on & it's not on there with a bunch of other costly ones that aren't on there either so this won't work for me. Sorry Mr. Cuban but you need to realize that most people need the newer & more expensive drugs out there to help them with their condition especially after the cheaper older drugs have not worked.
